Hi Violette, let me try and throw some light on these glaring errors ;)

Gross and glaring error no 1:

Ananya not following her father's case as a daughter and journalist. If this case was her life, wat was she doing in those 8 long years? Jst waiting for Kabir to solve the mystery of her father disappearance? And what abt justice to her father after the revelation?

As per Khalid, Ananya had grown as a reporter after Kabir joined KKN. As we know Ananya worked as a journalist for 4 years, probably she was still learning the ropes and building contacts? After the revelation, Kabir convinced her that when the case was closed (after her father's death) all charges against him were withdrawn as he wasn't directly involved in the case. Probably that's why she didn't find it necessary to pursue it.

For me, the biggest glaring error is Annaya not even knowing that her father is declared dead by police, that doesn't need much investigation, just checking the records of the case is enough.

Gross error no. 2:

Ananya in spite of following Kabir and his life for 8 years is completely ignorant abt his infamous highly publicized scandalous private life! The cases he followed including the one with Shreya's company and the Promising Reporter of the Year trophy tht he got!

The latest spoilers make me think Kabir's divorce, and scandalous personal life happened before those 8 years. We have never actually given a time frame of when exactly the divorce happened. Kabir said he was young when he met Shreya, young as it in early or mid 20s? He must be atleast 35 now, in the case it is possible that the marriage and divorce happened 10 years back. Let's wait and watch

Gross error no. 3:

Kabir being completely unaware abt Shreya's wayward ways while in mrg. The profession he is in and the same media circle he dealt with, he surely shud've known abt Shreya's "affairs!"

Not necessarily. There was no reason for him to suspect Shreya, and as per revelations, he was as naive and innocent as Ananya is now. Probably he too was accepting everyone with an open heart, which got shattered after the divorce. And after the divorce, he probably didn't want to revisit anything to do with Shreya (to dig about her past affairs)

Gross error no. 4:

The SK case. It was the most imp plot abt the story and yet not much was given out on tht plot especially when it connects the leads directly. Ananya conveniently forgets her father's case and death after the revelation and so does Kabir. And if at all this case was related to Shreya-Kabir initial face off case thn surely its a gross plot error tht it wasn't hinted to viewers earlier when Kabir confessed abt his past to Ananya.

I don't think the case has anything to do with Shreya, about why Ananya let this case off after the death revelation, I answered it in one of the previous points,

Gross error no. 5:

Shreya. I am still unable to understand her purpose in coming back in Kabir's life after ditching him unceremoniously. Did she expect a grand warm welcome by Kabir after what all transpired betn thm and after blatantly owning up to him almost all of her misdeeds?😆

She had come to spoil his happiness ;). I still don't believe she wants his back, probably she is fooling herself. ,

Gross error no. 6:

The impractical mother. Firstly, Anita refused to acknowledge her husband's death. Tht was understandable but she led her children believe in tht false hope too. She was not interested in coaxing her journalist daughter to seek out truth behind accusations on her husband and his subsequent disappearance. Then, she is not alarmed by Kabir's reputation and his growing effect on her hero-worshipping daughter. Then, she abruptly gives in to her daughter's wishes blindly believing in Kabir. And when she is confronted with the truth abt his past, she choses to ignore seeking out whole truth and again blindly gives her consent to this rship. She is not interested in meeting or knowing abt the present glaring threat in her daughter's life Tarini when she was so concerned abt Shreya. In both cases, she had only Kabir's words and her daughter's blind trust on him to believe on. Whereas, neither Kabir nor Ananya even bothered to talk to her abt Tarini before this engagement shud've come to her as a red flag as was the case with Shreya!

Anita's behaviour is consistent , she likes to ignore troublesome truths. ;). And we still don't know how Kabir manages to get her to KKN to give her consent. Did he give her some assurances about his relationship with Tarini? Possible I think.

Tarini's backdrop story. With every passing day her story and her rship with Kabir is becoming more and more unbelievable. She is unwilling to come out in public in support of thr fship bt she can come out and help Kabir during his hospitalization, in his absence at the office, and in his sting operations facing obvious public glare which will keep those rumour mills running!

All she is interested in is Kabir. She is not at all bothered abt Ananya or her mother's concerns over her fship with Kabir or her physical relationship with Kabir. She expects thm to take it in stride sportingly without giving her side of explanation even jst for reassurance like Shreya did (even though Shreya's purpose was for manipulation).

Kabir stalling this issue too is highly indigestible. He wants to give Anita time alright bt its a vital thing for a mother to know before engagement. Jst bcoz she gave consent to it, doesn't mean he or Ananya or Tarini shud take her for granted. Not inviting Tarini to engagement is right thing to do bt Kabir needs come clean abt her present role in his life and give reassurances to Anita before engagement. Its again his moral responsibility as was the truth abt his past. I don't know why writer is skipping/stalling this vital part in thr relation and making Kabir's character look unrealistic!

Also, the strong character tht Tarini is, why did she bear it all, the disrepute and ill treatment on hands of Shreya, for 8 long years and not come out in her own defence if it was jst a "mistake!", like Kabir? Why does she still choses to bear the brunt of Kabir's past and is not trying to come out of it! When clearly Kabir is trying to move on in his life, why is she not trying to make a respectable life for herself like Kabir in public life? Why is she still choosing to hide?

Writer has clearly failed to come clear regarding Tarini, an imp part of Kabir's life, when he had clearly ventured outright explaining Richa and Ronnie's role in Ananya's life and thr stance regarding Kabir.

I believe there is more to Tarini's story than what is shown, I agree with her and Kabir's stance that she attending the engamwnt would cause discomfort to Anita, sensible of them to take that call. I agree that Kabir and Tarini Are taking their ONS too lightly, that's because they both have gotten over that, and their friendship survived inspite of it. They also have many years to accept it and get over it. But they can't expect everyone else to accept it without proper explanations.

Kabir's visit to Singapore. I still cant believe it was jst to randomly meet KL and have a second opinion on his supposed fracture. What was the need to fly down all the way to Singapore if he wasn't going to get any substantial information, a single detail abt who his company was merging with or tht who was coming to join thm as business head!

I don't think Shreya coming as business head would have been decided that early in the merger. I think Shreya was hired from outside by the other company after the merger discussions got over.

Gross error no. 9:

The whole purpose of introducing a new character of Baby after Trisha. I still fail to understand tht. The amnt of screen presence she was given all these days, we were sure she was either a spy or had an imp role in the story, bt it looks she is jst some side character like Sunny! If thr is any ulterior motive of her, thn her behaviour or character is very incorrectly and erroneously portrayed till now!

Baby and her growing screen presence are irritating mysteries to me ;)

okay I m not putting Malvika's character here.. bcoz I feel her character is simply useless. She had no purpose other than raising dbt regarding Kabir's character in Ananya's mind.

the first one was a major blooper but the second one was needed to prolong the mysteries of kabir's past. it does not make sense but I don't think it took away from the story either.

Shreya's transgressions were not an open secret, manav had to do some digging and I'm sure kabir had to as well. by the end of it all, he was emotionally and mentally exhausted so he just pretenteded shreya did not even happen. clearly, he became disconnected very early on in the marriage and stopped caring about shreya.

yep, I agree with this one. it was an important but writers left it till the last minute. cv's could have avoided this.

Yes she completely put him at the back of her mind once she realized he is dead (assuming she was actively looking out for him before that). She was so immersed in her new found love that she had no time for Dad and both mother and daughter remember him only when they are at cross-roads. Surprisingly Armaan never remembers hid Dad.

God alone knows what Ananya was following. She did not even recognize Shreya when she first landed at KKN. Ab itna to usko pata hona chahiye since she claims she was following Kabir, saving all his articles and reading up everything written by him or on him.

This to some extent I can still visualize. He desperately wanted this marriage to work. He did hear a lot of things about Shreya, her bet etc. during those parties but could never convince Shreya and she always ended up convincing him otherwise. I guess Shreya had her affairs post divorce or in US which is probably why he does not know or he was so disillusioned with her that he simply shut her off completely from his life.

Now more than Ananya, I want to know what happened to Sudhir Kashyap. If Sudhir worked for Shreya's company and he was implicated in the case falsely then Kabir should have mentioned this to Ananya if not then , then atleast when Shreya re-entered his life. Or is Shreya hiding Sudhir purposely and making everyone believe he is dead by planting that wallet.

Anita is Ghajini. First she was against. She saw Ananya and decided to give Kabir a chance, then she went against and again saw Ananya and decided to give Kabir another chance. She is unsure of what she wants but definitely jumped the guns in agreeing to the engagement without knowing everything about Kabir. In fact she should have met his brother's family and finalized things. That would give her more comfort and made her secure. Kabir is a gentleman definitely but Anita should have been a cautious mother. Ananya can be blinded by love and she can choose to ignore Tarini and can even invite her to the engagement but Anita should have been a little smarter and sharper.

This Tarini is a huge mystery. I have a feeling she is related to the Sudhir Kashyap case. Kabir should have told Ananya more about Tarini specifically why she did not try to rebuild her life. Aaj kal even rape victims come out of their trauma and lead respectable lives. Yeh us comparison mein kuch bhi nahin tha. And quite common in the media and the entertainment industry.
