I think its shyla....cause i noticed that whoever it was was wearing a coat n latty was not ......so i guess its shyla.

at the time maurya masala was ritten shy was still tryin to gain tias frndship so she wudnt do anything against tia......u remember tht scene later where shy thot it was latty n confrntd her? latty denied it n im inclined to bliv her....after all y shud she lie to shyla? and mitra,well,he prolly dint even no tia had any grp called "angels" he had prctically entered the crial the previous day,n like sama said yd he insult a non-scholarship student???

Well, Mitra is obviously out of the picture. He would not concern himself with such students issues like who's the Queen of Maurya High etc. And Tia is a non-scholarship student.

As coolniyu said above, Shyla asked Latty about it and I agree Latty would not have lied to Shyla. So that leaves Shyla. coolniyu, you said that Shyla was trying to get in Tia's good books, but Tia didn't ever find out who it was did she??? Tia is not suspecting Shyla at all. And methinks, Shyla might have asked Latty whether she did it so that even Latty thinks that Shyla did not do it. I think that Shyla is not even Latty's friend but acts independantly; she's just using Latty.
