India ratings: BARC releases first data

New ratings system - BARC

India's new television ratings system, Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has published its first official data.

According to ratings for Week 16 of 2015, Star Plus remained top 495 GRPs - but slightly lower when reported by TAM previously, which was at 545 GVMs. Colors was a close second with 441 GRPs. Life Ok took third place with 366 GRPs and ZEE TV slipped to fourth with 311 GRPs.

The next tier consisted of SAB TV with 262 GRPs, Sony Entertainment Television Asia next with 234 GRPs and &TV with 107 GRPs.

Sony Pal reported 40 GRPs.

omg zee 4th place and sab beated sony 😲😆😆

and seems like soon rangeela will beat SP 😲

Shivangi Desai next onTujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi!

The show will discuss the grave issue of surrogacy...

Amongst honor killing, rape and other violent crimes women face in our country, there is one topic which exists predominantly but not many shows bring it to light.

We are talking about the serious issue of surrogacy.

Featuring the good looking Shivangi Desai, the upcoming episode of Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi will narrate the story of a gynecologist who helps a victim bust a surrogacy racket which her doctor who encourages the practice.

We contacted Shivangi who said, "I am not allowed to talk about the story but I find the character very strong and that prompted me to take up the show. All I can confirm as of now is that I essay the role of a doctor."

We await for Shivangi to sizzle in the episode scheduled to telecast the following week.

What is wrong with IF ??

In some articles, they tag people unnecessarily even if a mention is not required. This is Ashish's show and they mention his show wihout his name. I think this has happened for the 2nd time.

How difficult is it to write a line with his name in it?

IF is a totally stupid site when it comes to articles. ! 😡

Rahulram Manchanda and Sarika Dhillion to feature on Tujhse Naraaz Nai Zindagi

Soon Sarika Dillion and Rahulram Manchanda will feature in Tujhse Naaraz Nayi Zindagi

Television Actor Rahulram Manchandai (last seen in Saraswatichandra) and Sarika Dhillion (Sarika of Ye Hai Mohabbatein & Veerbai Jhaala of Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap) will feature on & TV's show Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi. The show is hosted by Ashish Sharma.

As per our source, "The story will revolve around a girl whose role will be essayed by Sarika Dhillion. She will be dumped by her husband and thus will struggle to live. A boy (Rahulram Manchanda) will try to take advantage of this girl by stalking her all the time. Later, when the girl will reject him, he will try to malign her image stating that she is a characterless woman and tried to seduce him."

We got in touch with Rahulram to know about the same for which he said, "Yes I am coming in a episodic and have already started shooting.'

He further added, "I have also shot for four commercial advertisement which will soon hit television screens. I have become a brand ambassador for Mac Dowells No. 1 for next three years. I am waiting for something good to come on my way.'
