Except for colorless everyone knows how much people love RR and want it to go on. Its just the channel that has decided that the show doesn't need promos or repeat telecasts or specials. The other show he mentions has all this so will obviously do well. What is he acting so surprised about. And if the writer of article digs a little he will find enough alternate stories talking about how RR fans are cheated and how the channel is not giving the PH a chance. And what does he mean that tracks are really opening up. We are on the edge of a love story that is speeding at an illogical speed because he is shutting it down. If he had some sense, he will actually sit and watch the shows on his own channel before giving such interviews.

Of course ... a story about a village girl and a BSD officer in the border areas of Rajasthan, sounds on paper completely as though it is based in the suburbs of Mumbai or Delhi ... and a show which has won nominations for almost all the technical awards on TV, as well as for the lead pair as best actor and actress, and has almost consistently topped the UK ratings, doesn't have a fan following and "mass appeal" ...

And those nominations are not on the channel award shows, but on the Indian Telly Awards.

Give us a break, Mr Nayak ... at least TRY to find a plausible excuse for axing RR which doesn't make it sound as though you're a complete idiot, and worse, lying through your teeth ... both of which you are!
