So it's final, the show is ending.. With the way things have been going recently, a part of me wants to say that might even be a blessing.
The creatives have made some questionable decisions with the storyline in recent weeks.
Paro being killed off - at the stage where the story was, this was totally unnecessary, severely rushed, and the whole track was quite badly executed. And the express reasoning given for this decision - ie raising TRPs - failed spectacularly. When the audience you have is clearly enjoying the ongoing storyline, and has grown attached to the lead characters, killing one of them off is a questionable decision at best, a really stupid one at worst. Shooting themselves in the foot much?
The one hope that a lot of us have been holding onto is that Myrah is Paro. To be honest, this is the only resolution that would be in keeping with the soul of the story. A love story between Rudra and Myrah would by necessity have to be done in a very rushed manner, given the show's end date, and would consequently not be believable at all.. As it is, if the Myrah is Paro storyline is executed, this would also be quite rushed, but I feel would still be a better resolution of the story.
After this rambling, slightly incoherent post, all I can say is, I'm sticking with this till the end, and I really hope the show's creatives, writers and all the powers that be don't disappoint me any more than they already have..
Would be interested to know what everyone else thinks, and how you all see the story ending..
