I agree with the above poster... you need to see the episodes and the great acting. It was a one of a kind show in the first few months. However, I am the type of person that always wants to know what happened at the end of story so I am going to share what I know so far:
Paro/Rudra met as children. They were on buses going in opposite directions (his father asking him to Jaipur and she was with her Mami and cousin heading to Birpur.) Rudra was crying and Paro saw him and she was holding her doll at the time. She threw her doll to him when the buses were about to take off.
Years later: Paro was picked to get married to a man across the border (a yearly scam by the Village Leader) and she was buying her wedding dress and walking back home with her friend. A group of men tried to attack them (they wanted something hidden in her bag). Rudra rode by on his motorcycle and Paro was screaming for help. He did not stop there but he went ahead for them and stopped and he save her and they had a moment of rolling together in the desert (worth watching.) Paro lived with her Mami and cousin in Takhur village- not with Takhur.
Rudra was investing the border dealings and the way that barhats came across the border to Birpur. He knew something was up and he and a BSD team stopped the barhats from going across and a big fight happened and in the end Varun (husband) was going to kill Paro as she was passed out but Rudra killed him instead. Paro woke up to this sight of her husband being shot in the head.
Rudra took her to BSD as he thought she was also guilty and then he realized that Takur was trying to kill her because she was the only witness left and there are some scenes in these episodes that are amazing and must watch. Hospital scene and a scene in the BSD offices.
Rudra sets up a scheme that makes it look like Paro dies and takes her to his haveli where he had grown until he was 13yrs old. His father took him away after his mother left them.
You have to see this epi as well. Rudra is a mad man as he takes over the haveli.
After some time and some awesome episodes, Rudra is told he has to clear his name or will be throw out of BSD for killing the men at the border. There was no real evidence of their wrong doing so he was stuck with only Paro to save him as a witness and she still thought he was a killer.
His plan that was enabled by Kaki sa, was to marry Paro. He thought she would get scared by his plans and back out and sign a document saying that he was right about the border dealings.
Lots of great wedding episodes. Very dark. You have to see these.
After all the wedding drama, Tejawat showed up at actual wedding and Paro escapes with him and he tells Paro every bad thing he ever did. She throws chili powder in his face and beats him and escapes and goes back to BSD and tells the truth about Tejawat in a press conference to clear Rudra's name.
At this time, Rudra was manipulated by Kaki sa into thinking that Paro tried to burn his father to death. Rudra was very angry with her.
Then Paro was on a misson to clear her name with him and she even scammed her way into his house again.
There was an award ceremony for BSD and Paro goes there to announce to Rudra that she loves him and wants to marry him. She had just discovered that the doll he has in his possession was her doll.
Its a lot of stuff... all better in the actual episodes. Hope it helps you. I left out tons and there are so many awesome epis.
