Honestly, I have to say this. Rangrasiya must have the best ensemble cast in indian television history. From the leads to the side characters, everyone plays their role to perfection.
Ashish and Sanaya are of course my sweethearts. Ashish has done a fantastic job as Rudra. I've been pretty obsessed with a few male leads in the past, but Ashish is just a whole different level. i love his acting more than anything else. He's hot, no doubt. But his acting leaves me speechless in every single scene. His crying, drunk, comedy, action, everything is incredible. As well as Sanaya. She's a complete pagal off screen, which is why I love her. But she plays Paro so perfectly. Her subtle gestures, her care, her soft hearted yet persistent character of Paro is done superbly by Sanaya. Honestly, SanIsh/ PaRud ooze hotness just by holding hands.
Now coming to the supporting cast, which definitely has to start with our very own KCM, especially after today's episode! As much as I wanted to see Parud aangan romance today, I was pleasantly surprised with 40+ age wala characters scene. 😆
Ananya ji does complete justice to her role. Even with her resentment and heartbreak, that level of wickedness remained at par. You wanted to feel bad for her, but it was so hard! I have no words for Ananya ji. She's truly an excellent actor, from dialogue delivery to stance to just everything. Amazing.
Next would be Dilsher, Kali Prasad Mukherjee. I would say he is just as good as Ananya ji. He emotes so well. Just like Rudra, even Dilsher is a very complex character. Before Mala's entry, I loved him as he was all out positive character, which I guess he still is. But lately with the backstory being revealed, we see those grey shades even more, which is quite nice. But Kali ji's strong yet vulnerable portrayal of his character, and the smooth transition between the different shades is definitely worth applause.
Now Maithli! I love her. I was initially annoyed with her, especially when she too blamed Paro for burning Dilsher. But the character redeemed herself. But Geetanjali does a very nice job. Her relationships look very real. And I saw her interview yesterday, where she says that she loves playing this character because she likes to live those relationships and feel them, which is truly a mark of a good actor.
As far as Tejawat and Laila go, they're good. Obviously Tarun brought the character alive. It was honestly the first time I was glued to the screen when a bad guy was there. He holds such strong screen presence. It's actually quite disappointing that they didn't utilize him more. But maybe in the future. Laila is alright. Don't have much to say about her. She's a typical vamp and Ankita plays her like that too.
The rest of the gang is just really cute. Be it Aman, which I love Padam. More than Aman being Rudra and Paro's chamcha, I think Padam is Sanaya and Ashish's punching bag. 😆 Their chemistry is really cute. Sumer is a duffer, but in a silly cute way. You just feel bad for him most of the time. Samrat, Kakusa and Sunehri are not as important, but they're fine.
SO.. Does Rangrasiya have the best cast ever or what???
