Tejawat isn't the lead so he can be replaced..
TBH i won't mind a new tejawat if he acts good.

Its was tarun's own decision and i'm okay with that.

Tejawat is important when needed. thats it..

Totally my POV

I find his departure from the show so abrupt that I don't know whether to look at the creative for a missed opportunity to tie up loose ends or if this great and the transition for the new actor will be natural when that moment arises. That is another question though if Tejawat is still a running part in this how show.

Yes he is very important!

The character of Tejawat is integral to the story... no doubts about that.

As for the actor playing Tejawat, would be fine with a replacement, provided he is an equally good actor. There is no dearth of good senior actors on TV. Given the characterization, I am sure a lot many would be willing to take it up. The PH have been very successful in picking the right actors for the characters... trust them on this.

Well, then I guess the only thing from stopping us from watching a reentry is the creative team's conscious choice to remove this character from the active story. Or does a channel have a hand in this? That part is all grey to me.

Second option for me . If tarun does not wish to play tejawat , then for me any senior actor from the tv industry who the cv's deem fit can play the role.
I also beleive tejawat as a villian can be seen in spurts in the show but not everyday ...

Channels do interfere, but I feel this is the creative team's choice. They are trying all options possible to raise the TRPs. And have been somewhat successful with the love story (barring the laddoo track... an absolutely lame idea).

They would need to bring back Tejawat at some point. Maybe they are waiting for Sadiya (Mala). If I am not mistaken, she is busy with another project.

Tejawat is part of the story. His character was the reason for Parud to meet and for what happened after. If the actor has quit that is his decision but I would like the character of tejawat back even if the actor has changed. Do long as the actor is just as good or better than the previous actor.

tejawat is not at all ignored.. he's frequently mentioned in the episodes if we notice. even laila came on bases that tejawat wanted to kill her.. TRP's aren't very good thats why romance track and all is going now.. it was tarun's decision what i see.. don't know what will happen in future.

Do you think that Tarun's break with the show before this news is what caused the large shift in the story's direction or if the team rewrote it for ratings and focused on romance too much? I feel like there is some truth to both of those conditions but then it makes me question if the original story had anything to show.

I guess I don't see the story without an extended absence of this character. Taking his name does not drive the connection for me. I would much rather have his men actively walking around different areas. That could do a lot.

Well, that is interesting. That is the same thing that happened with Ankita who plays Laila hu. Oii, what are we going to get when Ashish goes for JDJ? I guess every track will work in rotation then and this one is a little ways in the queue.
