Well I guess I'd rather let the cat outta bag and say that all this Ashish taking part in JDJ is more of a channel call than his own.

The guy have severe back injury and has major difficulty doing left heroine scenes currently in RR. He was shown on SBS/SBB segments wearing the medical belt for support before doing any such scene. Why would any sane person take up such a show where lifting is only a tiny part of the entire stunt which he will have to do for many weeks?

Its quite clear the channel are simply wanting to milk his current popularity in RR for JDJ trps and being under the contract with the channel...Ashish does not have much say but to oblige. I truly feel for the poor guy. And apart from him I feel for ST and his team of RR who will have to endure his short hours at RR sets due to JDJ and thus RR suffering even more ridiculous tracks to cater for all this...

What a mess!!!

I am so excited about JDJ right now. Especially because of Ashish. I really want him to win the trophy.
I hope his back problems are gone now.
All the best to him.
