There is a question from affy What was the main reason that persuaded you to take the role of Rudra?What was the main thing that you really liked?
AS:
Umm I think when i heard the story the character the complexity that it brings along with it and the layers of the character i really loved and basically everything was so very well written it was very exciting it is one of a kind show and television and the grand style of rudra and all basically the complexity of layers it has tht's wat attracted rudra towards me..
RB: Affy wants to knw when your wife found out abt the mooch and did she knw it was going to bcum this popular among viewers?
AS: chuckles actually mooch was my idea only😆and it took me a while to convince my creatives for this mooch and they were like really against it and they were like we can't have a hero without a moonch (omg AS ILU🤗)and i said i see rudra only with a moustache..Finally I had to grow it for 15 days show it to them how it looks and tht's how they were convinced abt it.Thankfully it all paid off and everybody is liking it so ya

how do you service ur moonch do you shampoo it? have you seen trending on twitter to do with ur moonch?
AS: O OK tht's really cool..*laughs*😆I really had no idea tht the moonch wil bcum such a huge hit..and its really gud tht lot of ppl are liking it and it takes a lot of hard work to maintain this moonch also..

AS: difference difference there's a lot of difference first of all i don't go out and kill people and i am not tht angry in real life..there's a lot of diff and similarities like..
RB: what's the smilarities lyk?
AS: Like him I am not much of a talker and i like to keep to myself..
RB: Are you kind of shy and reserved when u r off air wen u r not filming?
AS: Ya I am Kind of reserved do not talk much like to keep to myself reading a book or sumthing..
RB: How is it lyk to play a serious and intense character?
AS: More than the intensity and seriousness of it its the complexity and the psyche(ithinkhe said tht)Intensity and complexity is just the by product of this so ya tht was kind of more difficult to get it..get right see i have not lived tht kind of lyk and i haven't even seen anyone live tht kind of life wid a troubled past and troubled childhood so i had create lot of thing in my head but ya it sumhow worked..
RB: Drashti Mamata ASHUU(YAYME) how does it feel to work with sanaya irani?How is she as a co-star?
AS: O she is fun she is a fun girl and there is a lot of FUN on th sets😆its easy working wid her and she is a STAR but she doesn't cum across as one(ppl don't take controversial meaning hope yu guys get wat he means) she is very easy going chilled out its fun working wid her..

How close are you to Sanaya and do you spend time away from the show and talk about personal stuff?
AS: no not actually we just meet on sets and we've got our personal lives to be taken care of. she's got mohit to handle and i've got archana to handle so we like to do yu knw pay our extra time to them...
RB; Laila wants to knw who have enjoyed working wid most Sanaya aman or Tarun?
AS: enjoyed then it wuld be aman bcoz its lyk guys hanging out lyk boys bonding so ya wid aman..
RB: there is another questionnaire abt ur wife ur lovely wife who was in Qubool hai as well does she get to watch ur show as well and do yu watch her show as well?
AS: Y awe do wen we find time we like to watch each other's show and give any advice abt the performance..
RB: Are you going to work with Archana again?
AS: O wish i culd i really wuld want to and more than working wid her i wuld lyk to direct her once..
RB: Are you into direction?
AS: Ya especially in writing maybe i wuld pursue that later..
RB: Isn't it diffcult playing the role of rangrasiya coz yu have no experience with tht type of role?
AS: Ya it is absolutely difficulty in the sense there is a lot of physicality there is a lot of physical work lot of atcion happening and i have a real serious back injury..so physically it was very challenging in the begining and i had to get very sturdy so initially it was challenging and i wuld lyk to say same thing again the psyche of the guy is very complex very layered to get tht thing ryt but yu knw it just keeps unfolding with every moment he unfolds a different layer..to explore and to touch the right layer at that time is very important..that is really challenging everyday wen i go on the sets..
RB: indie wants to knw how many takes does it take yu to deliver a perfect scene and wat is the lead time for every epi?
AS: See we really don;t have tym everyday we churn out one episode so within 12 hrs we have to make a 22 mins of content so really less tym..Retakes we talk abt it just depends there r technical faults at tym..at tym things just don't go right so multiple things happening around and at times it just takes one take sumtyms it takes whole day for one shot..Initially we did a llot of retakes bcoz we started lyk 2 months ago so we had tym to create a bank and gud tym to shoot ample tym to spend on retakes and get the things perfectly right but as yu move into telecast yu get no time so it just depends on various factors..
RB: how diffciult is it to play the role of an army officer Have you got to understand the lyf as an army officer a bit more?
AS: Ah yes anything any role any human being tht yu play leaves a pit zone inside within yu yu give sumthin of urself to the character bcoz it has to be everything yu play otherwise yu r faking it u r not believing in it so ya to understand an army officer's lyk i did meet border security forces and i interacted wid them understood how they walk how they function how they stand the particular kind of salute they do.. small lil things tht i observed from them and it left discipline in me as ASHISH..
RB: what's more awkward to enact the romantic scenes wid ankita or aggressive scenes wid Sanaya?
If anyone noticed RB wanted ashish to stop wid one line but AS just wanted to talk..Ilu ashish😆
AS: laughs😆actually nothing is awkward but at times intimate scenes r a bit awkward bcoz yu have to take care of so many things ur co actor and all so it can get a lil awkward at time but not the aggressive scenes they r just fine..
RB: What has been th emost challenging scene for you so far action wise?
AS: Action wise was the Vande Matram seq, the barrat seq where i abduct the whole baraat tht was really challenging bcoz tht was shot over 9 days in the desert in extreme situation in extreme temperature thruput the day i was in the sand and dust so ya it was very difficult.
RB: wen are yu planning to come to Uk?
AS; right now i have no clue my hands are full and for an interview we had to wait for 6 months so idk how much tym will it take me to come there..but definitely i wuld luv to cum there i was there for 3 months last year so i love Uk i will be there soon,...
RB: O yes yu were here for rab se sona ishq werren't yu?
AS: Ya tht;s ryt...
RB: About TRps they ahven't grown as much as they shuld have..does that affect you as an actor?
AS: No not really i don't really work for ratings and there are multiple factors affecting ratings so it doesn't really bother me I am here to work as an actor there r other ppl taking care of TRPs. My job is to come there act wat is given to me give in my best and tht's wat i do..
RB: How has the journey been from Chandragupta maurya,Gunahon ke devta, rab se sona ishq to RR?
AS: O its been very fulfilling very enriching and its been a very good learning experience..started off wid all these shows and its been very fun journey actually bcoz i've worked wid wonderful actors co-actors there is so much to learn from them everytym i work wid sumone i interact get their experience within me so its been a very fulfilling journey..
RB: everybody loved tht scene where sanaya cries in front of the mirror the scene tht was portrayed at initial part of the show tht really touched everyone so they all wanna say thankyu sho much for tht.
AS: O ya tht scene is one of my favs as well and it was shot among one of the Early scenes one of the first scenes where me and sanaya actually connected so i am gLAD tht audience liked it ..its one of those scenes very close to my heart as well..tht was the first tym i broke down on the show and it took us really long to shoot tht scene one whole day..
RB: what's ur fav scene tht culd be ur fav scene but wen u were in ur office and u shattered everything tht performance was fantastic for sanjeeda..
AS: thankyu sanjeeda thankyu so much for liking tht scene.there r multiple scenes which r close to my heart the one where i am drunk and paro takes care is also close to my heart

AS:Again the complexity of layers.. I have seen many versions of it the british the indian its very interesting to play tht character

AS; O yes i am gonna be a part of the show..
RB: Are yu looking forward for the competition? are yu much of a dancer urself?
AS:I won't say i am much of a dancer but I have started reharsing for it..going for rehearsals and its really grueling the whole experience is amazing i like to do things tht bring something out of me as an individual and this was one aspect i was really dying to explore within myself..Dancing is one area i wuld yk to work on and JDJ is one platform to learn i am lukin forward to it..
RB:What;s ur idea of a day off? what do yu lyk to do wen u r relaxing?
AS: I am a very lazy person laid bak i lyk to just laze around watch a movie spend tym wid my wife and my 2 dogs

AS: Nothing actually i massage it wid oil and tht's wat i have been doin since childhood..I owe it to my mother her champi is the reason behind it..

AS: O man i don;t really watch much of television so i really don't knw many of them..
RB: what's ur dream role to play on tv?
AS: dream role to play on tv ermm if lie to me was made in india then i wuld like to play the lead role..
RB:You got fashion designing degree..What made yu turn to acting?
AS: nothing changed it was always there wen i was doin my graduation for Fashion designingit wasn't any conscious decision it was there and it took over me one fine day..
RB: who is ur best friend and closest buddy in the industry?
AS: My wife

AS: NO not really i keep very few friends ...mychildhood friends and all tht's how i'd like to keep it..
