I am one of those silent readers. Very few times I write but most times I read the brilliant posts on this forum. today I felt like writing ...
I love this show and both actors but today I am disturbed. When you keep drawing such parallels between Lord Shiva - Parvati story; are you doing right by mandating this give and take? Which God puts conditions? Since when did temples turn into 'hospitals with guarantees' - you give something; the dead will wake up? We don't need hospitals at all... I do know that we all pray when faced with such situations and it's a matter of faith... BUT when do we get what we pray for after sacrificing something? That's like shopping - pay and get what you want !!

It's disturbing only because many in India who follow shows ...follow blindly and many believe. People wouldn't make temples for actors otherwise... and this show keeps drawing parallels to God...
Is there a need to promote such superstition????

I know the neelkanth episode got similar reactions and we shouldn't react episode to episode but I don't like when superstitions are promoted so blatantly..

And the Pandit !!!! 😔 He kept pushing the point... So what r you giving? So have you thought what you will give? So beti, have you decided ???
What are you !!!!??? God's agent ????
Oh well... That's what they feel they are, isn't it !!!!

This happening was expected but the Pandit pushing just 😔 Me !!! Paro wouldn't have given anything but he made sure she did...n then Rudra did wake up... and a section of the audience does believe ... šŸ˜’

After deliberately drawing parallels between God and this love story... a bit more thought would be nice to have from the script writers !!

You know I was really annoyed yesterday. But then I thought about it. Dont we all do it to some extent? And it's very prevalent in our society. Across all communities. Walk on coals, walk barefoot to a temple, climb 1000 steps to reach another place. There's even a place in India where you have to kneel and go up the stairs. And peopld do all if this. When really. All God wants is for you to truly believe. That if he gave you hardship, he'll soothe you too. He'll give you strength. All the barter that He needs in return for His Favour on us is our devotion. Not this self-inflicted physical abuse. Or are we trying to say that God is cruel?

A difference between doing it of our free will but a Pandit is seen close to God ... If Paro had done it, it's her belief. The Pandit made her do it...
Yes, happens always n any Pandit coaxing is always incorrect...
Guess this Pandit was just a more aggressively pushing the point...maybe happy to get a few lines to deliver...:)
