God never expects anything in return.

hmmm i need to stop doing it.

Exactly Aurin! I have given up things too.. made sacrifices..
people cannot question if one's faith is correct or not. Its faith, and religion to one.. and an aberration to others..
for me it made sense..

For a little exam how much do we give? And then how can we say that for the life of a loved on.. if we were so certain we would be granted that boon - and the higher the sacrifice the better the chance at fulfilment, i would do what Paro did..

I think everyone does it ... why else are all temples, churches and mosques flush with funds? Because people donate ... and they donate because they want something from God. Fasting, giving up something you like, mannat ... all are various ways to bribe God for favours. Because the psyche is that giving up something, sacrifice is a way to show devotion.

If I have to believe in God, I believe in God's words: in every human being is a God and God is in every human being. God is within yourself.
If I want to do something for God, I try to be helpful to other people and give respect and love, let them know that they are not alone, I am with them! 😊I believe, that is what God wants: peace, love and respect for every human being.
I gave up anger, greed and revenge, although, as hard as it can be sometimes, I know I do it to please God. 😃

I do that too. I pray for something and give or do something in return. I always had this doubt if it was not equivalent to bribing god. I came to slowly realize that god doesn't ask us to sacrifice or give him anything. We do it for our own mental peace. To feel secured. To hide our insecurities.

When Paro sacrificed Rudra with out a second thought today, that is when I realized what blind faith in god meant. There was no if I give up this then, if I give up that discussion for her. She had to give up something precious to her and what could it be than her life, her Rudra. Now she can't offer her Bolenath anything less than her precious tresure in return for the boon. She was truthful and left the rest to the Almighty. When Katrina did the same thing in JTHJ it made no sense to me. It felt stupid. Because she was fearing god there and decided to leave the hero. Now that was bargaining for me. Paro's is pure shrada.

hahaha shalinii173 😳
I am 40 years old now, I've seen much of this world, been through a lot of heartaches and I've learned so much, yet I feel I still have a lot to learn.
I definitely believe in God, I used to pray, but I don't do pooja/praying anymore, but I think of God and talk to God every day in my heart.
I respect God's given life, this world, my fellow human beings and one day I decided that all the negativity that comes with human nature (anger, greed, revenge), is a form of evil.
I try to be as positive as I can be, but still as a human, sometimes it's hard to ignore those evil feelings.
By trying to be a better person (loving, forgiving, helpful), I hope to come closer to God and God answers my prayers. 😊

I think its very wrong. Giving away something to get from God is very much like bribing a government employee. atleast they dont ask for precious things from us. just money is enough for them. what u say guys?

wo hothi kuch hai... pandit boltha kuch hai... hum samjthe kuch hai ..aur karthe kuch hai...aur tho aur saabkho confuse karne ke liya ye serial wale kuch aurhi hi dikarahe hai... taking it to a different level😉
