Lovely lovely analysis Sabs!!! As usual I am amazed at your play of words! Love ya!! 🤗

Frankly speaking, I couldn't watch the episode due to the arrival of the unexpected guests at the very time of the serial!! 😡 Their timing couldn't have been any better. 😡

So not much to contribute in terms of my experience or interpretation of the episode... hmmm... But from what I have read in your post, I have got the idea as to what must have happened! Rudra's mood swings are worse than a pregnant woman's!!! Anyway, looks like everything is back to square one!! CVs are indeed clever! They say, this is a love story and that this is not a saans-bahu story and yet very very cleverly they put in wicked, horrible mother-in-law planning and plotting and scheming against the bahus of the house!! Yet I have a feeling that KcM is going to fail even in this plan! If an asthmatic Dilsher could survive a near fatal attack then a fit and fine Rudra definitely will!! Wonder what sort of 'Tyaag' Paro is going to do as per the spoilers! (I seriously hate them!!)

Looking forward to tonight's episode! Hope today at least no one drops in at 9:30 pm!!!

Had she not stood outside in the rain, Sumer would not have got a chance to send the photo.
Had the photo not been published, Rudra would not have been suspended

Of course we can also argue that he started the chain of events and also set the ball rolling through the fake marriage rituals. But Paro did not get married to him because of the rituals. It was not her running away or hitting Rudra or her understanding the true colors of Thakur which tipped her. It was the doll which prompted her to make the decision. No wonder he feels "Kaash Hum Us Bus Mein Nahin Milte "

And it is too bad that everybody including social workers and his own boss think that he should thank Paro for getting his job back. At least the social workers had the decency to tell him that they reviewed his entire official life and found it spotless. That might have made him happy. But his CO - downright forgot everything else.

I pity RUDRA and RUDRA alone

BANG ON JJKKL!!!! Love ya!! 🤗

Agree with every word especially the bold part!!! The almost marriage with all the rituals as we all know and even Paro knows was to break her and make her confess about Tejawat. The marriage was anyway not going to happen. So it can't be held against Rudra as playing with her emotions. Paro too at that time didn't want to marry him and yet rather than helping him or confessing she adamantly went ahead with the marriage plans. Who is to blame then?

Sabs ... am back after a break, and after a rather confusing episode, came in to check your take ... as usual, you clear up some things in my mind! Beautiful post, as always!

The bangle scene - he wants to be gruff as usual, to be stand -offish .. get her 'maafi' and be done with it. But Paro, thrilled to see that he did fulfill her small demand, wants more of the loving husband (or as loving as Rudra can be) ... he refuses, he's not a doting husband ... She's not fazed, not defeated yet, she reminds him of his soft moments when he woke up ... and gets her wish ... he puts the bangles on as lovingly as she could ask for ... just to make sure she doesn't put into words, his (for him) embarrassingly uncharacteristic behaviour.
So already Rudra worried that he is softening too much ... gets an excuse to get back to his rough self ... he doesn't owe his job to Paro, thank you very much! A blow to his ego and his self-respect ... he can't take it. It's too close to the truth ... it IS the truth ... but he loves his job much more than he loves Paro and he can't stand the fact that he owes her something so big.
Typical male ego 😉

Had he really ever considered Paro his duty? Because he could see in his mind's eye him holding Paro tight as they rolled over and over on the hard desert floor to escape the bullet. That hadn't been duty. He hadn't been in charge of her then. Was a stranger to her. But he'd saved her life. Just like that time he'd taken a slap for her from Kakisa. He hadn't needed to protect her.But he hadn't been able to help himself. Because he felt her pain. Like when she'd deliberately burnt her hands on the Tava to escape mehendi. He'd saved her from herself then, whether she wanted to be saved or not. Because he cared for her. Like when he'd rushed out into the rain to catch her as she fell and carry her in to safety.
The decision: So yes, he cared for her and would do anything to save her pain. Anything. Even if it meant returning to the haveli to take part in thepooja.Because she wanted it and it meant a lot to her.

I wonder ... why did he return? All these flashbacks ... did he start to realise that she did mean something to him? Was it really softening? Did he really return because it meant something to Paro, and he felt he'd hurt her again by storming out? Or was it his own fear that he is growing too close to her, so he needs to hurt her again ... push her away again from him? And what better place to do that than in the puja which is for them as a couple.

But Paro's happiness would not be quelled. It was enough that he felt something for her.

Paro was happy because she has started reading Rudra well ... not completely yet ... but much better than he knows. Or maybe he does know ... that's why he got angry all over again when she just smiled, and didn't react to his spoken words, that he came back to wish for her to leave. Because both of them know he doesn't mean it really. What he really means is that he's fighting his feelings for her. Hence her satisfaction and content that he came back to wish her to leave. If she really didn't mean anything to him, he would not have bothered to return.

The plan unravels: It was with quite a different emotion that Kakisa saw Rudra's return. The camel could be a spanner in the works. So she redoubled her efforts. It was always the girl who ate the prasad first. And it was good that Rudra had returned, because he could feed his wife the laddoo - it would deepen their love. Perhaps she was too insistent, too persuasive.
Because Rudra's instincts kicked in. And even as Paro was opening her mouth for a bite, he was rolling it back. Back to his own mouth, with a muttered excuse about wanting to be rid of Paro and the laddoo being the divine blessing.Trying, without heat, to make Paro stop smiling at his put-on hatred, stop knowing him, stop understanding him so well.

While I would like to believe that Rudra's protective instincts kicked in, and that's why he ate the laddoo ... I doubt it. When Paro is around, all Rudra's thoughts and actions are centred on her, he doesn't see anyone or anything else. He ate the laddoo because Mohini's words about Paro's tapasya and love, designed to infuriate him, did exactly that ... not because he suspected Mohini of anything.

Correct me if I am wrong here. This says something, that you truly understand the characters and your writings show the deep connect you feel.

What stood out most of all apart from Rudra's BHBC attitude, was Paro's unwavering and unshaken faith in her Love for Rudra and in God.

Some more awesome moments...

Paro looking extremely beautiful in green, wearing an awesome silver choker.

Rudra sliding the bangles onto her nazzuk si kalai...his eyes giving way to his feelings that he so wanted to hide. But she could see through him.

Rudra and his introspection with his aviators perched on his sharp nose!

Paro looking right through him and he afraid of unmasking himself.

Rudra being cautious of Kakisa's remark and gulps the laddoo himself. (Never mind what he told Paro)

Rudra the Man and his Mean Machine driving off with such attitude...that just for this shot I am willing to forgive the CVs for their bloopers! ☺️...The blooper being of course the badges and stars on his uniform. I would blame it on their darzi

Hugs

dd

P.S. The Color green worn by Paro -

It is the great balancer of the heart and the emotions, creating equilibrium between the head and the heart. Green is an emotionally positive color, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. A natural peacemaker, it must avoid the tendency to become a martyr.

Very well said DD!!

Missed the episode but from the spoilers, I know that Rudra takes ill. That means Rudra eats the laddo. Could it be that he gets suspicious of KcM goading Paro to eat Prasad? His natural instincts about safety of Paro have never failed him!!

But why one has to visit forum and read someone else's very eloquent point of views to understand the show and the character better.. Why cant it be self explanatory,, ??? what abt those viewers who dont hav any sort of access to the internet portals,,
this proves how the writers are failing to put across their point,, how ambiguous their work is,,

Exactly his natural instinct to protect her. Did she not once say to him "Yeah so now you would say were born to protect me?" And he replies, "Haah toh" during their fight after the Jhaanki.

Secondly yesterday his FBs were all those times he saved/protected her when he did not have to. None of them were his calls of duty...

So he did return as her protector if nothing else...he is yet to gauge his full feelings for her. Besides strong attraction, he has realized yesterday he feels the need to protect her.

And one more thing...I would not give too much thought into all his barking of wish I had never met you blah blah...and my job is at stake for the same reasons...sounds like a broken record to me now...😆 Its just his usual way of pushing her away from him.

And did he not say himself...don't believe everything I say. Paro has caught onto that...even in her drunken state...hence her smile. that tells me, "Really honey...you think I believe you now...joh bolna hai bol do...mein nahi maane waali?"😉

Hi J!!
I love how vehemently you are defending Rudra 😃

Here's my 2 cents...
The problem for Rudra now, as I see it - Paro knows him and can read him well, but doesnt understand him... Let me elaborate... Paro knew he would come back, Paro knows Rudra well enough that even when he lies, she is able to read his eyes and interpret it.. But, Paro does not make any attempt to understand Rudra. For all her speaking up and standing up, she has never asked Rudra why he has a problem with khoobsurat aurat. She doesnt attempt to understand why Rudra got angry after the conversation with Singh Sir...

Here Rudra is also equally guilty - he has not shared the truth about Thakurain and Laila (relationship) with Paro.. These would have helped Paro understand him better. When Rudra wants to temper her unstinted devotion and love for him, he just has the share the details with regard to these 2 with Paro...

Paro has not dealt with complicated male egos in the past. So, she has no clue that this is an ego issues. She sees this as an anger issue and not a male ego issue - and she is going about resolving this in that manner.
In her mind, Rudra and Paro are husband and wife and there are no barriers or egos or secrets between them. Rudra knows Paro is intelligent - so, he should share this information with her. Maybe, that will help Paro see Rudra in a different light and also understand him better?
