I"ve been watching this drama since day 1, but this is my first post in this forum. Used to post lots in JA but haven't for months now.
BUT I love this drama and yesterday and today just sealed the deal for me. There is something about a wedding that just brings happiness in the air, even it is a so called "forced " one...
Personally I would have been more upset if the wedding had happened earlier, when they were both kind of angry at each other, kind of in love with each other , but kind of just nothing as well...NO FIRE, no intensity, no PASSION like there was in THIS WEDDIng!!!!
OMG...đđ Ashish just blew my feet from underneath me today with the entire scene...he carried it from start to finish, including when he picked her up and took her to the room ... (did you notice how everyone kind of blushed / were embarrassed ) when he spoke about his suhaag raat... But that's just the thing, Rudra just says what he wants when he wants. AND yet he has a hard time tolerating that when his now wife says what she wants wherever she wants , such as the medal ceremony scene.
Double standard, of course it is, but well our Rudra hates beautiful woman so I suppose he's entitled to his double standard for now...later on it will probably definitely get worse, until finally he realizes that his Paro is true to him and will remain true to him.
Rudra is an amazing character. I still have hope for him, that although he will want to punish her, he won't let anyone else say or do anything to her either...at least for now, he will be the lion who bites her and protects her at the same time.
As for Paro... I know she didn't want the wedding to happen quite like that, but wasn't it her stubborn self that said that she already considered herself his wife. So whether the ceremony happens with a lucid Rudra before a Pundit or whether it happens in Rudra style, she still gets to be his wife, and now can start to do things for him that bring forth his love and compassion.
I do not believe that by her acting loving or caring with Rudra even after the wedding ceremony, is her being a door mat. Paro has shown us time and time again, that she is anything but that, so this one event in her life doesn't change that.
For instance, doesn't it take a large amount of will power to put on that Sari, with all of the jewellery to begin with, when she knows she is actually a widow and has had no official wedding with Rudra... for a girl like Paro, that takes a huge leap of faith and self determination in knowing that the path that she has chosen for herself is the right one for her and Rudra...
She in fact has made quite a few decisions for the both of them, and now if Rudra makes this one faulty decision of getting married drunk and making those ridiculous vows, well then I guess he gets a pass...because Paro with the help of Bapusa and Aman and everyone else will be able to slowly but surely break through this rock hard Rudra...
Anyways...as my first post, just wanted to say I have loved reading the forum and thought it was about time to post as well, since I fell in love with the entire drama all over again after that wedding...
