Rudra's test seems cruel but when has any test of love and trust been easy? He is not mad to propose Sumer's name. He is doing this because he wants to test Paro's conscience and give her an answer along the way.

6. For five seconds, I was like, Paro, WHAT part of your life do you own? Nothing? I guessed so.

7. Precap. Now you're defending her, Rudra? Why? Is she yours to defend against that lech?

BUT I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED because:

1. Paints the character of Rudra really, really grey. It is getting incredibly impossible to forgive him for what he's doing. So in the future, there is much brighter scope to play out his guilt, and Paro's hurt.

2. Booyeah! This is the kind of plot twist I expect. The fact that we are all rage-y about it, so emotionally invested in the show makes it so good! The what'll-happen-next element is so stront, thet it's COOL. I love it! Maza aa gaya.

3. People, do you really think Rudra will let Sumer marry Paro? He loves Paro already. Silly people, silly Rudra.

4. Remember the promo? The tables are gonna be turned soon, if that makes you peaceful.

So cheer up people, if you reacted the way I did, the show is on the right track.

On a serious note: I did see this blind trading of a woman today. In the face of money, both, the robust Mohini and Paro were helpless. If you distance yourself away from the turmoil Paro is going through (which is a pretty intense and unfair one) it just shows how powerless women can be in this society- no matter how "strong" she appears. I won't say if it was right or wrong to show this. The scene still remains to be completely aired. Depends on how the story shapes up. But I guess everyone can see the unfairness of it all. Not because it is Paro and we know she's innocent, but because it is clear oppression. Paro had no say in marrying Varun, little about marrying Rudra, and now, her marriage is a contract. A horrible place to be stuck in.

Today's episode was flawless writing. And a fabulous plot twist (which of course we know is not a twist at all).

Chalo at least aaj I knew what Rudra was up to. I knew it the moment he uttered the words. And what you wrote in your post. I feel so happy to be working on your frequency for once.

It is as simple as that. Either Rudra or his forgiveness. What matters more?

My heart wants her to chose forgiveness, if I am being honest. Because then, even Rudra would realize that its not just Paro... Its his Paro he has put at stake.

I don't know why I want this Agni Pariksha to be two-sided. I am not predicting anything, because I know the creatives are just going to blow any thought I have away.

But I really really want her to chose Sumer and then see Rudra's face. I just want to see a reaction like that from him.

A part of me also thinks that Rudra got a teeny bit scared by what he felt in that moment when she called him her rakshak.. and her... He got scared of what Paro could become to him... And he wants her away from himself as soon as possible.

That's why he was all like, take her to jaipur with you..

But then a part of me says that, Yeah right! As if would let her go somewhere alone with Sumer idiot!

Aapse ek aur cheez poochni hai... Aapko kya lagta hai, what will happen that'll join this episode of tonight with the promo? I mean how will we end up with Rudra being proposed by Paro?

I'd like to mention something else here, which I was giggling for Mohini as soon as she got flabbergasted when Rudra proposed the sauda..

"Karta tha so kyun kia, Ab kar kyun pachtaaye,

Boya Pedh Babool ka, Aam kahaan se khaaye?"

I love this doha by Kabirdas ji, and it fit so perfectly on her tonight.

Rudra is putting Paro to test because he has understood that its not just about forgiveness. He is testing her conscience and heart because he wants to know what its about. Forgiveness or Rudra?

well i am not sure if he is testing.. can you say he is testing? what will he do after testing... this Rudra again trying to break her???.. to break freak.free from her he thinks??... and in process he is going come down on his knees probably
