You know no matter in what sense Rudra was in it was Paro it was in front of him. He never once mentioned her name but we all know who Rudra saw. He recognized her as her only when she was in front of him. His initial reaction was push her way but the moment his head fell on her shoulders it was over, he surrendered to Paro completely.
She was tending his wound he lets her tend him it stung so he winced in pain, he answers her question regarding does it hurt and now does it feel any better and OMGGG my tears burst out at his cute oonnnhhh and nods at her question. He was hungry he wanted his Paro to do something about it, nodding at her and when she gets up to leave nooo don't leave me oh please don't it was a simple plea so powerful so tragic so gut wrenchingly desperate. His oonhhhsss at her reassurance that she will be back he was listening to her he understood her trusted her and let go of the hand.
I think from now on Rudra can throw the kitchen sink at Paro but if she holds this moment close to her heart she will know now and forever Rudra needs her and nothing else matters. She keeps her promise to be back and Rudra smiles at her return he knows his Paro is back to him and eats as she feeds him. Paro's sweet attempt to remind him of the time he fed her despite the drama of that moment Paro looking back holds every memory of the time spent with Rudra close to her heart as a sacred memory. Rudra might or might not have been genuine but for Paro it is now all too real he is her jallad. She with a small smile was trying to divert him to something in the past hoping the distraction would make him feel better. She replicated all that he did for her and more, she is a nurturer but she is not a forcer Rudra's bas meant bas she sets aside the plate he should eat more but no he was done. She wipes him clean and time for bed yes rest Rudra no where else could he have slept that night in peace except in her lap. He finally belonged and was with someone who wanted to take care of him just as desperately he wanted to be taken care of. Paro and Rudra at peace for the night.

Loveanime. 🤗 Awww it was a beautiful episode!!
@ Rudra knew it was Paro: Agreed. That's why he kept refusing her help. Wouldn't let her look at his cut. And then, as you said, surrendered completely. I don't care if he pretends amnesia with her, as long he remembers what she did for him. That's enough for me.
@ Honest emotion: The level of his honesty was uncomfortable viewing. Every emotion laid bare. No tempering/diluting to fit the norms. He said it as he felt it. One QnA stands out: "Does it hurt?" Paro asks him and he tells her: "So much that I think it'll kill me."
@ Paro's memory trove: Great point!! Yes she now treasures all of his memories.
@ Head in Paro's lap: Well said!! That was such a moving scene. As a child he would sleep with his head in his mother's lap. And now when he needed his mother, he turned to Paro in exactly the same way. I don't think Paro can ever forget that. And I hope Rudra doesn't either. Waiting to see if the CVs will continue that scene today. I really hope they do.

lovely episode. this is one that will stay with us...

Thank you, Dazee. 😊
I wonder how Ashish and Sanaya give so much of themselves to their roles day in and day out. Especially, Ashish, because I've heard he's a 'method actor' and must be living with this cauldron of emotions. Can't be easy. Having said that, Emoting spontaneously, with a sure touch like Sanaya did last night can't be easy either. Yet to act, and make it look fresh and convincing, scene after scene ...just wow!! Hats off to both!!

Awesome episode and Brilliant analysis.👏👏👏👏👏

The smiling visage of his mother as she stood with Teju the traitor, all decked up in pearls & silk was the last straw on this camel's back.

It was the end of his childish dreams that she would regret leaving him and return to him one day, that she had realised that leaving him had been a mistake, was repenting and wanted to return to him, that she hadn't left him & his Bapusa for another man but had gone away for some unknown reason, some circumstance that was out of her control and would return one day, that she was missing her son, was unhappy without him, was longing to see him...

And it was the moment of recognition that his mother had taken permission from him to leave one rainy night, unaware of the fact that she was speaking to her son, her son who was standing in the rain, protected only by BSD's umbrella while she was warm and cosy and dry in her luxury car.

That he had been standing mere inches away from his own mother and hadn't recognised her. Just as she hadn't recognised him. That she didn't care. She didn't give a damn. That the lady who had fed him and sung him to sleep was no more and expecting a dead person to return was hopeless. That he was finally an orphan-- with a dead mother and a dying father. This truth was staring him the face and there was no way he could ignore it.

It was finally proof that everything Kaki witch & Bapusa had said about his mother was true.

She was faithless.

It was the end of his hopes and dreams. And the man she had chosen over his father was Teju the traitor. The final dagger to his heart.

Thank you Smitar. 😃 Thrilled that you liked it.
And thank you for your stupendous analysis of what drove Rudra over the edge last night. Every word of your analysis is simply, breathtakingly true!! The betrayal of that happy, smiling face in the picture, smiling at the cost of his and Bapusa's happiness was just shattering. And you are spot on - sometimes all that keeps us going through heart-break is knowing that the other party is equally if not more unhappy. And for Rudra to find out the opposite, when he had and was still pining for his mother, was a mortal blow. The pain of it just couldn't be numbed.
Love how you see Mala so clearly from Rudra's POV. I do hope the CVs reinstate his faith in her in some way because that's a crippling wound. I still want to give Mala the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure there's a compelling reason why she left. At least I hope so.

As Kaki witch is in the equation, I am sure Mala had a sufficiently good reason to foot it.😆

Believe it or not - a few serials or rather some episodes of a few serials I would like to watch only in the laptop with head phones. That gives you a feeling of full involvement. As if only then it becomes yours - like a book to read. Just you and the scenes.

I was watching the RR episode on TV and when I realized it was one of those "fantastic episodes" I switched off the TV. And then watched it a while later in YouTube. Have only one word for it. RR in my books has taken No1 position in Hindi serials - even above the one not to be named. And Ashish is undoubtedly the king of TV. If he can portray the scene so well - he can do any other role with equal ease. And Sanaya is Sanaya. Undoubtedly the queen of TV

I did not read your writeup fully. Sorry about that. The scene was so powerful I do not want anything else to be over it. Am sure you would have captured the essence quite well

One question which is nagging me - he said "lautkar aa gayi" Which means he knows the person with him is a woman. But did he really know it was Paro ? He did tell her to go away initially but then he would have said that to any of the three ladies in his life. What is your take on this ?

I wish - just wish - he would have said Paro atleast once :-(

Hey JJKKL,
I know what you mean re the viewing for personal pleasure. Can def be a richer experience. And hey no apologies needed. I completely understand you not wanting another person's lens to spoil your take out. Doubly glad then that you still commented.
I think Rudra knew throughout who it was he was breaking down in front of. He knew it was Paro. bandaging his cut, hugging him, soothing him, feeding him, restoring him. It's a different matter whether he admits it in the light of day. But he knew it, and she knew he knew it when she told him "you fed me like this once!" But will wait and see how the CVs play this out. Rudra pretending amnesia of last night would be a clich, but still self-preservation, especially as he's not sure of Paro in his rational mind. So let's see what the CVs do now.

@ Bold: Beautifully said!! It was awesome to see Paro in that role for the first time (for any length of time) today. I can't see anything driving Paro away from Rudra now that she knows he needs her. And I'm so glad. She will be his salvation, and in healing him, she will heal herself too.

Lovely lovely post Sabs!! Your story re-telling is as powerful as the episode itself!! Love ya!!! You are truly a gifted writer!! 🤗

The episode!! Sigh!!! One of the most brilliant ones so far in the history of RR!!! Truly an unforgettable experience!! I cried and cried through out. Wouldn't stop till the end. The ending scene of Rudra's shocked face in the previous episode felt like an incomplete reaction was just the beginning of a massive destruction of Rudra... Felt too sad. When the calamities befall on you they surround you from all sides, choking you. Rudra was facing devastation all alone. What Paro did was trying to clear the mess around Rudra and helping him pick up the pieces! Hopefully she will succeed.
The most heart touching things that CVs showed were Paro's unshakable belief and trust in Rudra and Rudra alone so much so that even CO was surprised at it! She even sent away her Maamisa! She was the only one who realized that Rudra needs her at this time and she wanted to be with him without the knowledge that it was more than Dilsher's health that had devastated him completely. Imagine having lost one parent already, though alive somewhere, about to lose the only other parent in his life and on the top of it finding the truth about where the absconding parent is or who is she with can be too much even for the most hardened person in this world!!!
Rudra isn't a hard person at all!! He puts up that facade as a defense mechanism to avoid any further hurt in his life!!
The whole caring scene between Paro and Rudra simply took my breath away!!! I can not even attempt to put my feelings in words for I know I would fail miserably! I personally believe that Rudra will know it was Paro who cared for him the next morning!! There is a chance of Rudra being pissed off with Paro for siding Thakurain though, if the precap is what I believe it is!!! Not another MU please CVs!!!

The reason I mentioned about Rudra knowing about Paro taking care of him above is because at one point I thought Rudra is sort of hallucinating that his mother is back and is caring for him like she used to and he actually smiled thinking that she came back!! In that one tiny moment my heart was in my mouth thinking OMG what will happen to Paro when he comes to his senses!!! Can't imagine!

Acting wise Ashish and Sanaya were superlative!! Simply no words!! They deserve standing ovation. 👏👏👏 There wasn't even an iota of overacting or a misplaced expression! No wonder my tears wouldn't stop!

Looking forward to this beautifully changed PaRud's equation!! A lot of surprises are in store for us, I am sure!! And my faith in the CVs is now becoming as unshakable as Paro's faith in Rudra!!!

Mozart!! 🤗❤️ Thank you for your kind words. Love Ya!!
@ Paro the only one who realised Rudra's state: Well said!! She knew he'd be devastated, and would need someone and she stayed and waited for him. That was just so sweet. And without knowing that it was much more than that.
@ Rudra not a hard person at all: Great point!! He is just a loving, passionate, caring man, warped by his mother's rejection. But still retains that core of softness. That core that still made him go after Paro to rescue her even though she hit him on the head.
@ Rudra will know it's Paro in the morning: Well even if you look at the physical clues - the bandage made out of her dupatta. Surely, Aman will tell him Paro stayed at the office all night. And surely some small convenient flash-back, which he may dismiss, but will still tell him it was Paro who helped him.
@ The caring scene: As you say, breath-taking!! Equally for the openness of his emotions. He didn't hide one emotion from her. If he felt pain, if he was hungry, if he was tired, if he felt abandoned, he told her. That more than anything broke the clich, made it feel fresh last night. Rudra's characterisation is just so interesting.
@ Thakurainsa MU: I'm thinking a spot of jealousy too, that his mother shared her mamta with some other child, who got what he pined and pines for. It will also make him distrust her more - after all look at her teacher, he'll say - another faithless woman. But I hope they give a twist to the MU and make it palatable..

and the episode was one hell galore of torrid emotions, despair ,last shred of sanity falling apart ,abject loneliness but along with it ---- a hope for salvation, for mitigation of all heart piercing agony, and for the beacon that stood firm, tall, patient, magnanimous, empathetic amidst all wreck .
In all these three months, the writers were building the platform for this very moment... ... the saga of their mutual dependence, concern and companionship has now truely begun !

Hey Shreya,
It was a mind-blowing episode, and deeply satisfying too! Loved it, even though, like you, I was all churned up!! I saved myself by not letting myself dwell too much on Rudra's pain, but on Paro's healing. Because the other route would have done me in. And agree, what we saw last night was the culmination of the writers' efforts over the last three months. I'm loving this track. Waiting to see how it plays out.
