The village is still very suspicious of the BSD because of years of conditioning, so if Thakur is gone, they will not necessarily be welcoming of Paro- because she'll be seen as a traitor, and someone who framed Tejawat with the BSD in cahoots with her.

Secondly, Paro will most likely go on a journey to find her cousin Nandini, and I do think Rudra will be an integral part of that.

Finally, Rudra will always been protective of Parvati- he's been justifying it because of her being his "witness" but realistically there's a bit more to that. Even with Paro now being a willing witness, I think he'll still try to keep her close for her "protection"
