After I watched the episode all I felt was intense dislike for Paro. She is clearly on a self-destruction path which Rudra is unable to stop.

Felt extremely sad for Rudra. He is on the brink of losing everything, his job, his honor, his uniform, whatever good he believed in, may be even his father, the only parent left in his life, and even his Paro, the realization that has dawned on him. Poor fellow. A man can not take any more. I have always thought Paro to be dumb and selfish. I always thought how come this girl never thought of others? How is it that she is just full of herself? All that matters to her is SHE! Her beliefs, however wrong they may be, her life, her friend, her Maamisa!! Come on even after seeing all what she saw she can not for even one moment think about others? Well she may come back to Rudra reformed after finding out the truth about Thakursa but she will be too late I fear. She is way too selfish for my liking. Rudra deserves something better.

The scenes that stood out for me were the ones where Rudra realizes his feelings for Paro, Danveer trying to console him, his turmoil when he hugged his uniform and one last attempt to ask Paro to side the truth. Ashish was top-notch!!

Awaiting the dhamaka at the Mela!!!

I don't agree with you about Paro ... she has already lost everything she held dear, and her stubbornness is to save her people, her family, not herself. If she wanted to save herself, all she had to do was sign the papers ... which by the way, would have put Rudra in an even bigger soup, because she would be committing perjury. And he would be hauled up for coercing a witness into signing false testimony ... lets not forget that Rudra also doesn't have any proof against Tejawat yet, for all his trying ... and Paro does NOT KNOW that Tejawat is an arms smuggler, so she CANNOT be witness to that. Which is what Rudra is forcing her to sign. So he is forcing her to sign a false statement, and the penalty for that is very severe. He would be hauled up for another court martial if she signed.

Rudra might lose his job ... he still has his father, his family, his home. What does Paro have? She has absolutely nothing ... she has lost everything already.
Rudra wants honor for his men, because they were like his family. Paro has lost her family, and she refuses to dishonor the Thakur who is like her family. How is he any better than she is?

I'm not discounting the fact that Rudra saved her from a terrible fate ... she would have been worse off if he hadn't intervened in the border shootout ... but the plain fact is that she does NOT KNOW THAT. And she is held captive since then, she has had no opportunity to find out anything to the contrary.

But I am sure the story is definitely heading there. Parvati, I think will understand Thakur's truth after going away with him (after the wedding) and will return as somebody who is pro Rudra. And maybe Rudra will be against Paro by then. Maybe he will think she left him like his mother. And then will start Paro's attempts to woo him like the goddess Parvati

I think the Shiv-Parvati reprisal is inescapable for RR, obviously tempered to fit in with the plot and the times. And what you've said fits in with what I expect. Obviously the nuances and exact motivations will vary, but on the whole I think it'll be as you say - She'll return repentant and guilty, but he'll hate her while he loves her, and she'll try to heal him and make things right for him.

Enough is enough stop the weeping, stop the self pity just be what we all love most about you just be FEARLESS. Stop begging Paro where is your pride man stop wasting your breath not worth it. Oh how glorious it would have been if Rudra just strode into the courtyard called the whole wedding off, screw the stupid wedding idea, screw Paro, it is his job, life and country all on the line and he is going to fight it on his terms. Why is Rudra giving Paro so much power to decide his fate, she doesn't care for his uniform, she is not in the service of her country an ordinary girl cannot fathom sacrifices it involves so she is not obligated to think about country first before herself, it is not her men than died by her side and why should she care about their reputation. What would Tejawat do coming to the mela expecting to see a wedding but sees Rudra and an army of BSD officers in their uniforms guns raised ready to fire hahaaa.

Win or lose just go down in a blaze of glory you owe yourself that much. It is not the uniform that makes the man it is the man that makes the uniform. I know the task ahead for Rudra is pretty much mission impossible he will have to be superman to win this fight, sadly he won't he is only human so just go down fighting make us proud. My heart broke for him and at the same time I was like come on Major don't give up you know you are right don't be afraid. I want Rudra of the old back the one they introduced at the start the man that inspired confidence I hate feeling scared for him, please writers don't let Rudra go down in a stream of tears. I want my dabaag hero back raise that gun and take down as much bad guys as possible damn the consequences if this is your last day as BSD officer make it count.
For a while we all have been so worried about him and his emotional state he most probably will lose the job, lose the girl, have to face his mom too much pain coming his way I just want the writers to give Rudra one last crowning moment before they tear him apart completely. I want to root for something even if they take away everything from Rudra I want to see him believe that he can come back from this. I don't want to pity my hero, he has tragic emotional baggage but in the end he is the torch bearer in the show for victory over evil that should inspire hope not despair.

So on that note the best part of this episode was the scene between Dhanveer and Rudra. Rudra needed to hear that, we needed to hear that it was like he was reaching out and giving hope to the audience as well because lately it has just been so miserable. All the bad guys and Paro in the bad guys camp on one side and Rudra all alone on one side. You can't have worst odds than this but yet there is hope which Dhanveer gave. Rudra might just lose it all tomorrow but hopefully he doesn't completely spiral out of control and remembers one day he will win since truth is on his side.

Loveanime, I can sense your frustration and fear for Rudra's immediate future. Some interesting thoughts here.
@ Rudra weeping: I actually thought it was a good touch. The deadline was approaching and there had to be some panic, some loss of control. It was heart-breaking to watch him lose it, and worse to see him red-eyed before Danveer.
@ Tejawat facing Major Rudra in the mela: No, no, Rudra needs to catch this one with cunning. He's already tried the bust-into-his-house approach to catch the criminals and failed spectacularly. Nope. This one has to be about mind games, detailed planning and luck.
@ Want the old Rudra back: Yes that old arrogant, dare-devil Rudra was very appealing. But he was a very flawed character too. Hence the mess he's in. But that's the nature of stories the character must go on a journey, show growth, change and become somebody at least a little bit different, but hopefully somebody we can still love. And this is Rudra's journey of pain and self-realisation and eventually healing, which will hopefully give him back to us stronger!! better!! bolder!! more successful!! 😉😃
@ Go out in a blaze of glory: I think the blaze has happened already at the border confrontation. That was Rudra all the way. And he's still cleaning up the mess. But I want him to prevail in this round at least some of the time. And I think he will.
@ Danveer - Rudra: That was a great, much-needed scene! What struck me was how ineffectual Dilsher was in meeting his son's emotional needs. And how this must have affected Rudra over the years. Danveer was brilliant. Able to make Rudra meet his eyes, not flinch from the pain and fear in Rudra's eyes, and reach beyond to offer him comfort with words that resonated.

I don't know and leave that to the brainy CVs 😊... anyways, the epi is done and we hope they have really good dhamaka planned for us, i love those 😆

Hello Chitmanas, Thanks for the compliment. 😊
The Rudra crying scene was a bit essential I thought, to remind us what was at stake. I must say Rudra's situation has been playing in my mind and I'd hoped for some reference. And going to Paro was essential too. He had to have given her every chance. Tried everything he's got. And failed. And they did infuse the scene with a new awareness of Paro from Rudra. So yes I agree they were repetitive, but they were needed.
Hopefully tonight will do away with the need for those exact scenes for good.😊

The individual episodes and the events are good in RR. The acting by most of the main cast is also excellent. Dialogues are good. Very lavish settings...But

I think RR has got into the old saying - too many cooks spoil the broth. Too many villains too spoil the show. How can they make every TDH a villain ? I am fed up now.

Where are the good old days when there was only one SMJ. Even Lavanya became a better character than Khushi :-) I love those days. Where nothing much happened for days together.

In RR world within a matter of days - two Shaadi, multiple rukmini visits, Too much crying of Rudra. Burning, Feeding to crocodile, Kidnapping, Explosions, Poison in different colours and states.

Where is the love story we were promised ?

you know today when rudra met paro for the last time, he was not angry or threatening her only a sincere request. you think that talk with laila made him realize he feels something for this girl so he couldn't bring himself to play games. he was seeing her in a new light there was pain in his eyes when she pushes him and refuses to sign, it looked to me like he was not mad at her anymore for siding with wrong maybe trying to understand her POV, but for rudra it is still like watching someone push the self destruct button. he tells her he will imprison her in a life with him, it had no hate no sting of callousness to it he doesn't mean it at all especially if he is starting to realize he cares for her he is probably thinking fine paro marry me we are meant to be maybe we will find peace together. in his self talk he states he doesn't know what she will do next like worried that she will do something stupid goes to show you he might be worried about losing the job but he is also concerned how paro will handle herself, sign or no sign he doesn't want to see her hurt he will forgive her for not signing but not tolerate any harm done to her.

@ Repentant Paro and not too hateful Rudra: Yes that's really the best case scenario in the circumstances. I have this vision of him drunk and being hateful to Paro, but still able to stop before he's beyond redemption, because love is its own check for nasty behaviour. Laila is a case in point. She might hate Rudra just now, but can't bear to see him hurt.
@ The Rudra who realises his feelings: Well said!! 👏 That's exactly how it was.
