Wonderful analysis Sabs!!! Kudos to you!
The episode was highly volcanic! Did I imagine Paro feeling shocked when she heard Rudra yelling at his father or was it really so? Paro is indeed going to play a key role in dousing the fire within Rudra as his father has predicted! So much angst, so much bitterness! But the answer to Rudra's respite from all that has been boiling inside him is PARO!!

The unraveling of Rudra life has begun, and it is fast spinning out of his control causing him to panic. I think Rudra knows that Paro is innocent, but it is Paro or his life and we all know how much his job means to him it is the very air he breathes he would not exist without it and to save it if he has to torture Paro and make her confess to a crime he knows she did not commit then so be it he needs to save himself first.

Rudra life is a volcano bed, his parents have really messed up his psyche poor guy. Dilsher deserved that dose from Rudra it was long overdue. But I feel bad for both of them because they both needed help. Imagine if Mohini wasn't what she is, what if she was kind and a loving sister then maybe she could have helped Dilsher heal and also gave Rudra a mother's love then none of what happened to them after would have come to pass. But from what he gather in the flashbacks she emotionally tortured Dilsher letting him spin out of control and his brother could do nothing and Rudra got caught in the middle. I am glad Paro witnessed that because the last time she wrote him off as Jallad alone, but now we hear from his own mouth at why that is.
But what I don't believe he is not typical all I feel is hate guy because he is not, he values people and respects his peers, and he is a man of honor and you can't do the job he does if all he felt was hate. He wouldn't care if his subordinates got shot and killed for his reckless actions if he is a jallad. Rudra is harsh in his own personal life but when it comes to his job and the people he swore to protect he will walk thru fire for them. His relationship with Aman is very genuine they are friends in their own way. His problem is concept of family not people in general so he doesn't paint everyone with the same brush because of his lousy family. Anything and everyone linked to his job is sacred for Rudra, it keeps him grounded, gives him purpose, makes him believe in loyalty and trust even though his own family have shown him none, he knows on his command Aman and his officers will follow him without question. He has profound respect for that uniform, it is his shield, it is his identity everything that is good in this world for him is associated with him wearing that uniform and being Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat, but if he was just Rudra then all he is a hurt little boy whose father is a mess, whose mother left him, whose extended family are a poison pill in the name of relations. Yes Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat is larger than life, but just as Rudra he feels he is a nobody. We saw what such a loss could do to Rudra, deep anguish on his face as he left the hearing his whole world was falling apart, his will to go on living was being cruelly stripped away. But to some extent he needs to learn this lesson the hard way he was warned before of his brashness. This is where Paro can help when she loves him for the man he is he can start to embrace life as a whole not just obsess over one facet of his life letting it consume him so much so he doesn't do his job effectively. Remember what the colonel said he thinks too rashly it has worked so far in his career and he has climbed the ranks at a great speed but now it is over taken his life clouded his rational thinking and he needs to balance his identities.
I think hints are given in the spoiler that Tejawat men come in contact with slime ball Sumer. Paro is in a lot of trouble she thinks Rudra is her problem wait till she faces the real devil. Paro and Rudra are going to call each other bluff but neither will budge, Rudra will rather die than lose his job and Paro will rather die than marry Rudra, so both have high stakes in this game and neither will want this marriage to happen.
I predict the decision will be taken out of their hands when Paro is kidnapped, but twist in the tale could be takurainsa and her men they too are looking for her so what if these two forces meet and spring Paro free. This could be the event that changes Paro as she now sees her own village people try to kill her, why would they do that if they are innocent. But she doesn't go to Rudra goes directly to BSD HQ and says she will tell them exactly what happened at her wedding she knows only one thing and that the first shot was fired by the barath because the BSD officer fell first but what she knows won't be enough to help Rudra.
However what if knowing Rudra impending firing she sacrifices herself saying they can arrest her for keeping silent all this time as that was her crime. The case is reoopened because Paro is willing to accept foul play by her people and Rudra is given a new lease of life for further investigation. This is the only way I see a win win situation for both Paro and Rudra. This way marriage doesn't happen, Paro will not lie to save her skin she is too honest for that, Rudra too can be saved from firing by Paro selfless intervention so this proves to him there is one woman in this world who is honest and pure and so pure she will stay in jail to allow him to do his job.

Thanks for your detailed comments and analysis.😊
Some very insightful points here:
@ Rudra's choice Paro or his life: No contest, indeed.
@ If Mohini had stepped in as Rudra's foster mother: What could have been a more natural solution than to look after her abandoned nephew? Makes me wonder why it didn't happen. Was the haveli worth the destruction of two lives? And who's to say that the lives she has trampled on with hobnailed boots wont come back and haunt her. Hopefully, Paro won't judge Rudra too harshly in the future.
@ Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat and Rudrasa: 👏👏 Great point!! The two faces of the man - the one so in control and the other dysfunctional. What will it do to him to be stripped of that control, to have all that is good and right in his life taken away from him? They say that adversity can make or break a man's character. And, when it's a man of Rudra's mettle, then perhaps, the coming adversity will be the making of him.
@Paro and Rudra will call each other's bluff: Completely agree. Neither will give an inch on the question of marriage and career - both are too important to compromise.
@Prediction: Very plausible!! Paro kidnapped? Outed by Sumer? Or will she run away, abandoning Rudra on her marriage day? I would be very surprised if the marriage took place so early in the story. And frankly, I don't want it to happen just yet. But then what will become of Paro? Gone to the Thakur/Thakurain, I think she may find out just enough to start believing in Rudra. Or Rudra may find her before she reaches the Thakur and rescue her from her kidnappers. So that she knows the men who took her had bad intentions, but won't be able to pin it on the Thakur. I'm quite sure they won't find proof against Thakur this early.
I'm not sure it'll be win-win just yet. I have a feeling that Rudra will lose his job and hate Paro for it. Which means that it's Paro's turn to feel guilty and soften towards him. Hmmm, sketchy clues so far. Will have to wait and see which way the wind blows.

Seeing Dilsher's handiwork of Rudra we forget before a father he is first and foremost a human being too. He was never given the opportunity to recover from the greatest loss and betrayal in his life. It doesn't make right what is wrong. But humans in the heights of grief and happiness commit the most incomprehensible things. So I will leave it at that.

Rudra despite all the poison he was raised in, may not be a social person, may run from feelings, attachment, beautiful women. Despite all this he is a good person, loyal, he can associate with others pain and will protect his own with his life.

Nobody in life is perfect . We all have our share of insecurities and weaknesses, some more than others. Once Paro develops feelings for him she will suffer at Rudra's hand due to the damage by his parents. Hopefully Dilsher , will attempt to rectify his wrong slowly through then.

But there were some heart-warming moments too that stood out for their sheer loveliness. The first, when Rudra brings a choking Dilsher back to his room, and Paro reads his every wish before it was even formed - the chair, the inhaler, a glass of water. Paro remained a witness to the father-son exchange. And that was all to the good, because it gave her a better understanding of Rudra. Then, there was Aman's vote of confidence in Rudra just before he went up against the Inquiry Committee. And finally, Mythili and Paro's brief alliance against Kakisa.

*Me too liked the way they were in sync unintentionally whilst caring for Dilsher. A nice intimate 'family scene'. Whatever situation they are in, two are always there for back up. And when one speaks the other two remain silent! They are strangers but share a greater bond of humanity. And Paro being a witness to their confrontation was very much needed.
*I loved Aman scene! His confidence, loyalty and supportive words for his boss. Rudra needed them & he respects Aman's affection too.
*One girl, a witness, in front of whom he hasn't been able to pull the trigger once has become the cause of upheaval in his personal as well as professional life.
I'm eager to watch how many more explosions he will have awaiting him in the coming days!
One thing I didn't understand, Rudra asked her to cover herself if she goes out and about, so why was she covered in a locked room?😕 😆

Sofna, lovely to see you...🤗
Brilliant analysis and comment, as usual!!
@ Dilsher the human being: Agreed. There are always two sides to the coin. And if a happy mother makes for happy children, then so does a happy father. In this case, if Dilsher could not deal with his own unhappiness then how could he possibly try to keep his son happy.
@Rudra the man: Agreed. He is an honourable, fine man.
@ Paro's vulnerability to Rudra: That is what I am most apprehensive about - watching her suffer for no fault of her own is not really my cup of tea. Really need the CVs to mitigate my suffering as a viewer. 😃
@ PaRud teamwork: That was one yummy scene!! Gives me a warm feeling whenever I watch it. More of it, CVs if you are passing by, more of it!!
@Paro under cover: Ahh the enigmatic woman, a new layer for Paro?

Lots of happenings for a 20 minute episode ... Is that what it is ? Court Marshall ... Plans for marriage ... Things definitely seem to be heating up ... Thanks again for a intense read ...

Poona, thank you for your very kind words. 😳😃 🤗You must know that you make my day!!
The story is heading towards more drama and a key turning point, that will determine its course for the next many episodes. So I'm sitting fingers crossed that it withstands the assault of the TRPS.
