Beef Up Paro's character

I would like to see paro's character beefed up - to be more substantial. She is now just reacting to things around her and that is understandable for the story until now. Going forward we need a stronger and more sensible Paro. They have the best actress in television today. She can utilize her more.

I think Paro's growth is being shown in a realistic manner. She was a timid village girls and already has no qualms about standing up to Rudra who is the face of her nightmares. I agree that Sanaya is an immensely talented actress but I also think that her talent is being brought to the forefront in the the reserved yet effective way she enacts Paro and her restrained dialogue delivery is actually more realistic than if she was shouting at Rudra. Even though Sanaya is one of the only actresses who speaks volumes with her eyes I would like to see her getting more dialogues.

I initially thought that Paro would be the one to develop feelings for Rudra...given the fact that he was her protector and saved her life on numerous occasions...and of course Rudra does not understand those feelings..so she would have to become strong to deal with her feelings!

I think Paro is showing immense sense and strength in her circumstances. She is facing her nightmare head on. She tried every way to get out of captivity, she tried escaping, thought of ending her life, she pleaded with the nurse, CO and tried reasoning with Rudra.

On the contrary I think Paro's character is the strongest of them all...dialogues or monologues does not make a strong character...what makes it strong is a woman's conviction and the power to survive In dire circumstances. And so far Paro has shown that power immensely...from defying Rudra in the interrogation...by taking in all the abuse that she has been bestowed...by been treated like an animal or just a commodity. Inspite of everything she voluntarily came back to him to save her village and her aunt. How many in that situation would have the courage to do that ? Wasn't finishing her life the easier way out? But did she ? No. She would rather take suffering and torture than been a coward. That is what a strong character is. Right now she has nothing to be called as an ammunition that she can use to make her situation better...she is a prisoner at the mercy of her captor...she is defenseless right now but she is not refraining from making her point known to Rudra...very silently and steadily she is making it very clear that she is extremely strong.

One missed opportunity was when she got her suitcase and the baraat was mentioned! There was no reaction at all from her except relief at getting clothes! I would have thought she would remember sadly the life she had been heading for when all this happened to her...her mami...thakurain..Bindi..her husband..her home..but that scene was rushed through!

I agree. That did cross my mind too when I saw that part of the epi. Yes, we need more reflection on her part so that we know what she's thinking.

I think the makers are doing a great job telling a story from Rudra's point of view...but Paros emotions and her point of view...gets a bit side tracked in many Rudra focused scenes...initially a good amount of emphasis was given to her feelings...when she was taken in by BSD in their custody...but lately...her reaction to many things have not been getting any focus...

For example...her reaction to the pretend engagement deserved more screen time and space ...than it was given...

Unfortunately the same was sometimes true in Sanayas previously not to be named show...where Khushi's character and her reaction to different things seem a bit disjointed at times...Never the less, the show was a hit and still has a cult following...so this is only offered as a fair criticism not as a reason for dooms day scenario...

Some monologues, or dialogues with her favorite God Shankar...will go a long way...
