I think Dilsher Ruined Rudra's chances with anyone.

Dilsher must have said all those things about beautiful women,was in a fit of anger for his wife..not knowing that his words are hurting young Rudra..

Now he is old and alone and lonely.he wants someone he can feel comfortable with.he found that someone in paro.so naturally he wants Rudra to marry Paro ,so he is unintentionally being selfish..

But it will be hard for Rudra to compromise what he had learend from his life.The only way to deal with the situation is head butting...Dilsher has to catch the bull by the horns and march through the field...

No kind words,no ladida will make Rudra agree to any kind of marriage only by hook or crook is that possible...

For now, everyone is applauding Dilsher for being so kind to Paro and pushing her towards Rudra. But that , in no way mitigates the mess that he has made out of Rudra in his younger days.

In short, his parents have destroyed him. They can do all the disaster management that they want now. That is not going to save him or Paro.
