Paro's Nightmare!

I promised myself I won't be making posts...but here I am...Just for you Sunara!

I had added this bit to my comments on Diya's post and Sunara asked me to make a post on it just so that it brings more clarity to the scene.

"And the last scene...Sanaya was just awesome in the nightmare scene... her body shuddering, her cries...if you see, it felt she was tied to the bed. But it was her physical struggle to be free, for in her dream she was being held back by her Mamisa.

And the way Rudra held her and calmed her down was beautiful portrayed. The holding of the Rudraksha and his soft spoken word "Shant" was just perfect!"

But Rudra is going to be in for a rude shock when Paro might just mistake his good intentions for evil ones and might just scream foul. And then Paro is transferred back into a separate ward which makes it easier for Evil Doc to get his job done"

If in doubt still ...let me elaborate here...The lifting of the head, legs kicking, yet hands held down on the hospital bed...watch the little girl's FB scene, the head lunges forward, she is held in the middle, she struggles to move forward with her legs of course.

Hope my POV has shed some light on this super awesome scene!

hugs

Diana 🤗 Why are you not making posts here? 😡
You're absolutely right ... how could I miss that ! When I watched the scene, I wondered if Paro's arms had been tied to the bed ... we do that for patients whom we feel might be violent or might dislodge their IV lines ... I didn't connect it to her nightmare, where the young Paro was held back from her arms and middle, leaving only her legs free to run ... or here, to kick ...

And of course, the whole point will be for Paro to mistake Rudra's intentions ... more confirmation of her belief that the BSD are violent animals, and rapists to boot ...

I haven't seen your reply yet ... *runs to check thread*

Beautiful post..!! 🤗

You explained very well that why that scene was necessary when he had to trap her legs with his own.. It was because, as you said, she was struggling to run towards her parents in her nightmare.. He consoled her.. Hushed her, tried to wrap her in his safety.. <3 It was a beautiful scene indeed :) <3

yeh u listened to me di!! 🤗

This is just astounding once u realize this! I CANNOT believe i missed it! thank u for pointing that out cz i doubt if any1 realized just how perfect that scene was enacted by her! cz even i was cribbing over it a little earlier till i read ur perspective on her jerky movements and Dia di's one on the counter moves of Rudra about how it was necessary to keep her from dislodging the IV or falling off the bed or harming herself with her jerky movements.

They don't miss a thing do they? or should i rather say 'she' ? So impeccable once u come to think of it..the subtle nuances that girl includes in her every performance is sheer brilliance once u come to think of it! 👏

It makes a lot more sense too that she was responding to her childhood self's predicament and was reliving it.

thanks a lot for making a new topic di for me! 😳 Pls write often i miss having u around! 🤗

Nice post and nice observation and loved reading it. Gosh how i missed this even after repeat watch, i was just assuming that her hands were tied up because of IV. Now i understand, in her nightmare she was being held back by her mami.
Wow! kudos to Sanaya, that is what is acting. Now i understand Rudra too in that scene, Ashish also played it to the T. What a difference when two fab actors enact such simple scene and bring life to it.
Now off to watch the repeat telecast at 3:00pm.
Please do keep posting.
