I know this is gonna sound so crazy but I have to share the excitement else I'll have a stomache.
I am so bogged down with work these days - last week of uni. Hence, you don't see much of me around. I even missed a couple of RR episodes. Just watched them on Catch Up TV.
Guys, is this PH for real?! How can any TV show be so mindblowing? Not even once I felt in all the episodes of this week that a certain scene was unnecessary or just dragging. Even though I have the option to fastforward, I dared not fastforward a single scene. This is the first Indian television show where I have actually felt for the characters. Rudra's pent up anger, his obvious silence, his indifference, his emotional turmoils, and his inherent humaness are all portrayed simultaneously in such an amazing way - there's no way I am gonna hate this character! On the other hand, Paro's innocence, hopeful eyes, coyness, sadness, surface happiness, anxiousness about future, fear of the past, and a curious mind wondering about the uncertainty that lies ahead makes her such an engrossing character. We haven't seen much of Paro yet but her presence is so strong.
While watching the last episode, I thought how intense would it be for Paro and Rudra to find themselves falling in love with their very own central fears - BSD officer for Paro and a beautiful woman for Rudra.
This is one beautiful show, BAS. The makers of RR have certainly raised the bar. How Ironic. I was sure it would be Sanjay Leela Bhansali but I was disappointed. I thought RR has a tough competition but it actually surprised me by doing what Bhansali's show couldn't. I now sincerely hope that they maintain the standard they've set themselves.
