Yashashri Masurkar walked out from Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki!

Yashashri Masurkar stuck gold when she portrayed Khanak on Star Plus's famous show Rang Badalti Odhni. And soon the actor went on to become a household name but post Rang Badalti Odhni, she was hardly seen in any daily soap on small screen, except short role in Imagine TV's period drama Chandragupta Maurya.

She returned to small screen with Colors family soap Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki as Bharti. Initially her character was highlighted in the serial, but steadily track went on to emphasize on its lead characters Bhoomi, played by Shamin Mannan and Jay played by Jay Soni.

Yashashri's character gradually placed behind the curtain and this is what irked the actress and she went on to take serious resolution, to call off the show. Her track in the serial came to a halt sometime back. And now when the makers (Anahita and Cinemantra Productions) called her up for a re-entry, she opted out of the project, as per a source.

"The creatives chalked out a plot wherein Bharti's character would have turned negative and she would have gone on a revenge spree. But Yashashri did not want to come back," the source added.

Yashashri also confirmed the buzz and said, "Yes, I have quit the show. I was never happy with my screen space in the serial. My character was not performance oriented. I was never satisfied with my character."

Yashashri Masurkar remains firm on quitting 'Sanskaar'

In the first place itself actress Yashashri Masurkar was very much dissatisfied with the way her character of Bharti in the 'Colors' show "Sanskaar ' Dharohar Apnon Ki" was shaping up. Recently she saw her track on the show being put on a standstill mode by the makers.

Hurt and feeling low with the situation Yashashri decided to call it quits and has submitted her papers to the production house. Interestingly the makers wanted Yashashri to re-enter the show but this time in a negative avatar wherein all her character would have been required to do was go on a revenge spree.

The plot chalked out by the creative team for Yashashri's re-entry had the actress least interested to be a part of the project once again. She stuck to her decision of calling it a day and is now in search of better performance oriented roles in her future projects. Here's wishing Yashashri all the very best and success in future endeavors.
