Even though my situation is mostly same to same with you Disha, and with others as a matter of fact, i would like to add a few touches here & there, if anyone is interested in reading it. If not, I will write to pour my heart out :p
Before RBO, to be frank, I was fed up of hindi serials. It seemed like every other week there will be a new serial starting in each channel. And it was the same storyline, most likely with a "simple next door girl" getting married & then the 2nd marriage or 5 different extra marital affairs & divorces...blah blah...I was sick & tired of it. Now cut back few yrs ago, I was a total hindi serial tv person. Obsessed! and I think that's when I found & joined india-forums also. But even then I was never EVER upset about a show ending as I am now over the end of RBO.
And one guilt fact: during the promos of RBO, I even mocked Khanak since I thought it will be the same show as all the other ones. (I was sooo wrong!)
Anyhow, during RBO, every weekday I waited for 12:30, to read the LU here, and then get excited to watch all the Shanak scenes later in the night (ahh..those days...'sigh') Seriously speaking, my day got set with just thinking, gushing, imagining, reading, & watching about Shanak. Nothing else needed.
After RBO: I basically hate my life. I was so upset, it was unbelievable. Whatever few shows that I did watch with my mom during RBO, I get angry on those shows now that how come they are still on air (even when they suck in every matter) and not RBO. I am just miserable. No matter how much I try to console myself, it's not working. Even getting myself busy isn't working. How Pathetic. I m always checking on fb fanpages, here ( sad on RBO getting archived), and my beloved YT for Shanak. I have got shanakITIS !! And the forum is becoming dead also. Ugghhh...I can go on & on...i don't think anybody wants to listen to this..
We should post this post/thread in several diff. production houses' or producers' fb fanpages or something (if they have one, since not every PH is like BeyondHouse team) . Bcz if it is posted on either YM or KT's fb, then it's not that useful, since they are only actors. They don't have the control of getting hired in a show together.
Thank You Disha & everyone for sharing your feelings & thoughts in this post. I feel better & sad after reading all these ( it's weird & hard to explain)
