Some Ramayan's say that Sita's banishment was just a drama, the real Sita was in heaven with the god of fire, but even if it was fake. Ram shouldn't have done what he did, I agree it was for his kingdom. But no man is good, if he doesn't know how to respect a woman.

And last but not the least if Debina comes in glam images will it harm your sensibilities - Mine, a little. But then again, it's "kalyug" it all seems normal these days.😆

Yes, mythologies click with me a lot. I am 19. And I love the stories in our scriptures and their great teachings.👏👍🏼

Old values do they resonate with today's times?

Times have changed. What is good at one time may not be good at another. But I do believe that essence of the old values must be preserved even now. Of course, they are not preserved but they should be. Values like truthfulness, performing one's duty with dedication, respect for elders, affection for youngsters etc. are always important.

I am not much aware about the upcoming serial Krishna. But I am sure that Mahabharat will not eat into Ramayan's property. I am saying this not out of any sentiment but there is a logical reason for this. Some of those who are watching Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat are watching because they are interested in the epic Mahabharat. But so far portraying epic is concerned, Sagars are known to be much better than Ekta Kapoor. They are more knowledgeable in epics and do better research. Therefore, so far interest in epic is concerned, a mythology by Sagars is not going to lose any popularity because of a mythology by Ekta Kapoor.

There are many, who are watching Ekta's Mahabharat because they are interested in seeing their favourite actors. Lots of established Balaji actors are working in Mahabharat. But the viewers of Ramayan are not concerned by that. When Ramayan started, then the actors Gurmit, Debina, Ankit etc. were not that well known. Still, they have left positive impression in the hearts of viewers with their excellent acting. Those who like Ramayan, if they were really interested in seeing Balaji actors, then instead of watching Ramayan, they would have watched K-serials. But they like watching Ramayan. Therefore, their interest in Ramayan is not going to diminish just because Balaji actors are working in Mahabharat.😊

have u watched the old series with arun govil comparison

Because of my age, I did not watch the old Ramayan when it was telecast. 😭But much later, I watched most of its episodes from some other sources (e.g. DVD).😊 The comparison between old and new is inevitable. Often people consider old as standard and judge the new one accordingly. Still, the new Ramayan is being liked by many. This proves the beauty of the new Ramayan serial.👏

In the old Ramayan, I liked the acting of Arun Govil, Dipika and many others a lot. In the first few episodes of new Ramayan, I always used to compare Gurmit with Arun Govil and Debina with Dipika. But the actors of new Ramayan are doing such an excellent work that I do not compare any more.👏

This is about acting. Now, let us talk about story and direction. Here, I find that old Ramayan was more resarched. May be this is because Ramanand Sagar was more knowledgeable in Ramayan than his sons. Of course, at many places, I felt old Ramayan as too slow but overall it was very good because enough details were shown. In comparison, I found some important details missing in new Ramayan. However, I am happy that Sagars corrected lots of mistakes by showing some of these details through flashbacks.😊

I wish Sagars concentrate even more in bringing out the emotions. And they must use more of real scenes rather than animations. This is because the animations used in Ramayan are not that good. It is very easy to see that they are animations.

Let me also add that I am pointing out areas of improvement in the new Ramayan. This does not mean that I do not like this serial. If I really did not like, then I would have written my views for first few episodes and then stopped watching this serial. In fact, I love this serial and I wish it to be even better.

It depends on what kind of glam role she does. Glamour without vulgarity is always acceptable. But if there is vulgarity, then it will definitely hurt at least in the beginning.😆
