Ekta to compete with Sagars

Ekta Kapoor- The Mother of all dramas who introduced the never lasting serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki etc is now preparing to remake the mythological saga- Mahabharat. May be she wants to compete with the Sagars- who are well known for their mythological and historical sagas and have recently given two new stars to the television industry- Rajat Tokas and Anas Rashid. (Though Anas has started his career from Ekta's camp and has done a small role in Ekta's serial- Kahin To Hoga but Sagar's Serial "Dharti Ka Veer Yodha- Prithviraj Chauhan" gave him immense popularity.)
The original Mahabharat was made by B.R. Chopra which was shown on Doordarshan. It was such a big hit that its stars are still remembered by the names of characters they played in Mahabharat. So Ekta needs to work really hard to rich B.R. Chopra's standard. (which is suspected by everyone)
People are wondering on Ekta's this new decision as it's very strange feeling to imagine the typical Balaji stars to play the historical characters. Few characters are being finalized while others are being searched for. The characters being finalised so far are:

in my opinion the cast is not at all apt..the balaji actors might not fit into these roles...especially aman verma and ram kapoor won't look good in these roles...so people might watch Ramayan it has a more entertaining story and better cast

If Balaji serials are any indication to go by, then I will not like Ekta's Mahabharat. It will have lots of masala but no good teachings. Sagars are known to do justice to mythologies.

The cast she is using are better known as what they play on tv. I doubt the public will believe their performance as historical figures...

i am not at all interested in watching ekta kapoors mahabhyarat & ekta can never ever beat the great sagar productions !!!

Yuck! I am repelled just at the thought of these Kekta characters donning the roles of Mahabharat characters. What does Ekta want to prove?

it would be fun watching all that...though she is going to fail literally......the cast looks hilarious..... 😆
