Ram - Ma, where is your dear dasi Manthra?
Ram meets Manthra.
Manthra - Who is there?
Ram comes in the light. Manthra falls on his feet and cries.
Ram - Do not cry, Manthra. You never used to cry.
Manthra - These are not tears but my sins. For 14 years, I have been shedding these.
Ram - Repentance erases even biggest of sins. Mother says that you have been repenting for 14 years. You kept yourself closed in this kaal-kothri. Now come outside.
Manthra - How will I face the people of Ayodhya? I have heard that the touch of your feet turned a rock into Ahalya. Now turn me into a rock. My only desire was to see you, which is fulfilled. I have no desires left.
Ram wipes Manthra's tears.
Sita is talking to Kaushalya.
Sita - The period of exile was very long and especially the days I spent as Ravan's captive. But I did not lose hope even for a moment. I had full faith that my husband would do everything to free me. That is what happened.
Kaushalya - My heart trembles when I think how much you suffered.
Sita - Mother, it was not so difficult. You had taught me to have faith in my husband. Your teaching gave me the courage and strength to bear the torture of cruel Ravan.
Kaushalya - You are great Sita. You have shown an example of devotion towards one's husband and also the example of courage.
Ram comes there and takes blessings from Kaushalya.
Kaushalya - May you live long, Ram. Before coming here, I hope you have taken the blessings of Sumitra and Kaikeyi.
Ram - Yes mother. I cannot lose the opportunity to take the blessings of my mothers.
Kaushalya - Ram, there is one more person whom you must meet. She is Manthra. She has been repenting for 14 years. She has imprisoned herself into kaal-kothri. Only you can free her, Ram.
Ram - I have already done that.
Kaushalya - You are greatest of men, Ram. One should learn from you how to perform one's duty.
(True. Before giving the teachings of Gita, Lord Krishna himself lived those teachings in earlier incarnation as Lord Ram.)
Ram - Ma, it is all because of your good teachings. But it is past midnight and you have not slept?
Suddenly they hear people shouting jai to Sri Ram.
Kaushalya - Ram, your devotees are no less in fulfilling their duties. Hanuman had gone to get water from the seas and the rivers of all the four directions. It looks like he came back even before morning.
Ram - It is my great fortune that Hanuman is there to help me. It is because of him and other great warriors like him that I could defeat Ravan.
Devarshi Narad meets Lord Shiv.
Shiv - Devarshi, you have the news of all the worlds. Are you aware about Lord Sri Ram's coronation?
Narad - It looks like Mahadev wants to attend the ceremony.
Shiv - Devarshi Narad, you know everything. I want to see the coronation of the Lord of the three worlds Sri Ram with my own eyes.
Narad - Will you go to Ayodhya in this form?
Shiv - What is bad in it?
Narad - You are worshipable in the whole world. How can there be anything bad in your form?
Shiv - If I miss the chance to see this auspicious event of the coronation, then do not know for how many eras I will have to wait to see it. Now you must tell me a way.
Parvati, Lord Brahma, Indra and other gods come there. They also ask Narad to tell a way by which they can attend the ceremony.
Narad - When I do not have any other way, then I surrender myself to the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ram.
Shiv - That is excellent.
They all disguise themselves as the citizens of Ayodhya and go to attend the ceremony.
Ram is being given royal bath. The mothers are decorating Sita.
Precap - Ram's rajyabhishek. (I hope some interesting interaction between Ram and gods, esp. Lord Shiv, is shown.)
Excellent episode. The greatness of Ram was shown very nicely. Ram showed the correct way of practising forgiveness. It is said that we should have forgiving attitude. But if we always forgive everybody, then many people will take advantage and will do even more wrong things. But if we never forgive, then we are not giving chance to them to repent and improve. Ram, by his actions, showed when to forgive and when to know "enough is enough".
