Hey Sita11, calm down dear.😊 There was no need to get so agitated about a simple post. Pallavi's a newcomer; she does not know about all the other heated arguments we had. For newcomers, it's natural to compare the old and new Ramayan, b/c they don't know it is against IF rules. No one needs to get angry at posts like this. Just explain calmly to Pallavi what is allowed and what is not. You are a lover of Ramayan. Even you must know that Ram had a calm disposition, and forgave easily. He even talked to Ravan clamly, and didn't fly into rage.
You are a coolbie, as you have often told us; it is your duty, Dharma, to kindly tell others what is right and what is wrong. A coolbie is like a mod; it is their duty to keep peace in a forum, but not rudely, and it is also their duty to be welcoming to new members, and encourage other people to join. I am not trying to hurt your feelings; I just don't want more arguments forming in this forum. You might think that people will listen to you if you speak like this, but as a fellow Ramayan Forum member, I'm just trying to tell you that the way you talk is hurtful.
Just imagine; there are probably many people who read the threads in this forum, but are not a member. How will it seem to them if you constantly hurt people's feelings, and if there are always arguments? They will feel initimidated, and they won't choose to join, because they will think their opinions are not valued in this forum. Would you want that to happen? Don't you want more people to join, and take part in our wonderful spiritual discussions? If a newbie creates a thread that is a "waste of space" as you say, then don't post a reply in it. There are many others who are willing to do your job for you, except in a nice way. Think of Pallavi now. There were a few members who told her nicely that what she was doing was wrong, and no one said anything offending, but why did you have to? Again, I am not trying to hurt your feelings.
There is no need to get angry at members who do not like this Ramayan. For you, it ROCKS, but those who do not like it do exist in the world. It may get annoying if once in a while, a newbie comes who doesn't like it, but then again, that's why they're newbies, so it is our duty to patiently tell them what is allowed and what is not. Remember, patience is a virtue, not anger. Think of our Sita Mata who had unending patience. The rakshasis in Lanka were more horrible to her than newbies in this forum. Yet, Sitaji always talked patiently to them, and never said one harsh word, ever. That is the greatness of Mother Sita, and we, her humble devotees, should learn from her.
Also, this forum is not only for those who like this Ramayan. People are allowed to discuss what they find disappointing or lacking in this as well. That's also the point of a forum, any forum. It's not only for fans, but for everyone. The only rule is that people should be nice. If someone says they don't like NDTV Ramayan, that doesn't make them sinners, and neither does it mean they are criticizing. Liking/disliking the epic is totally different from liking/disliking mythological serials.
And I wish you will stop suggesting that people have multiple IDs. First of all, that's hurtful, and second of all, you don't know if that's true. Basically, what you're implying is that Luv_Khwaish, Musical Aiswarya, and I are creating multiple identities to make it seem as if more people dislike this Ramayan, b/c we three are the only ones who say anything against this Ramayan? Is that it? Why are you so eager to blame someone? Like I said, people who don't like this Ramayan do exist. If our writing styles seem similar, then I'm sorry. I can't help that!
I don't want to hurt your feelings, or anyone else's. I just don't want another huge heated argument to start like before. After all, as the old saying goes, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
