Anyway, I voted Gurmeet. Rama was supposed to be a very magnetic personality that one would fall in love with instantly, and Gurmeet fits that bill perfectly. Arun Govil somehow never came across to me as a kshatriya warrior, which is what Shri Rama was - he came across more as a saint and a preacher. Nothing wrong with that, since it was a role that Shri Rama did play, but it wasn't his primary role, and his kshatriya persona is something that Gurmeet, imho, captures far better.

Just my $0.02.

Yes, BRC did a Ramayan, but it was never popular.😆

Did you watch the old Ramayan? Just asking...

And you don't have to write obviously. That's offending, saying that anyone who likes Arun Govil or someone else better is...wrong?😕 That's a hurtful remark.

be tolerant abt other's opinion n views. Arun Govil n Gurmeet have their own fan following. In such kind of poll such reply is obvious. All here wont vote a one actor. Personal view is that no one can completely personify lord Ram expt Lord Ram himself. Rups didnt said anything against Arun govil.

Yes, I too found rups.12bloom's remark hurtful. What's with the "obviously?" And saying he is the best is not wrong at all...if said in a nicer way. 😕

I'm just saying that anyone who has never seen the old Ramayan (or any other Ramayan) and only sees the new Ramayan has no right to vote, because how would you know who's better at acting? It's not fair for the other actors who acted as Shri Ram if you say Gurmeet is best without knowing how they do. It's hypocritical behavior.

Guys, I too really like Gurmeet, but just for the vote to be fair, I'm asking you to vote only if you've seen more than one Ramayan. Thanks.😊

Guys, I agree that people have the right to their opinion, and whoever they like as Shri ram, we respect that, because I think all of these actors who acted as Shri Ram are really really great, because they acted/acting the role of our beloved God.😊

But you should also not use words like obviously (just my opinion), because some people may be hurt by those words. There's nothing wrong in stating your opinion. Just do it in a nicer way.

Jeesh...coolpurvi, my sister was logged onto my account and wrote that, I didn't even write the message to rups.12bloom!

She won't get an account herself, so she uses mine without telling me....I went to the third page of this section, and I saw you talking to me and got very confused...Now I see. But still, she didn't have to add obviously. That does make it kind of sound that It's obvious that no one else is better than Gurmeet, even if it is her opinion. But anyway, I Didn't write that!
