DOES FREEDOM MEANS you forget vows...It's a men oriented world and a wife just follows whatever her husband does..I am a very ignorant worldly soul..I seriously do not understand GREATER GOOD AND ALL..But my question stays the same...VOWS ? have they to be diff for Wife and Brother...?

all says about vows etc..but do ppl really apply them on real life???..i dont think so...
all vows are for name sake..even if husband lives with his wife...all these vows are always broken..Vows look totally immaterial to me...
two people can very well be happy without any one following any vows...vows are just coined term for some man made rituals especially when it comes to marriage. not a single person follows any vows to perfection..vows are like washout thing in my opinion

oh man neither i am a scholar 😭 i m not the right person to answer.😭...still i think tht lakshmana never broke his promise he promised his wife to make her happy... he didnt abondon her or forsake her he just departed from in the quest of truth self enlightment..it was short break he took for the pursuit of dharma... they vowed to be together but the spiritual journey is one where one had to go on alone...everyone has to find his god his truth independetly it was a spiritual journey for lakshmana and as a ideal wife urmila supported him in his quest for self enlightment...he didnt took her along coz urmila never wished for it for her lakshmana was everything hence she waited for him in the palace... she set him free so tht he comes back to her...lakshmana never mentiones his wife becoz he was 100 % devoted to lord rama a true yogi in every sense ...he was dedicated with his soul mind and heart to thee there is no scope for any wordly pleasures it is wrong to think about family wife & love as any kind of attachment is a hindrance in devotion of ALMIGHTY
if we look at the second aspect lord lakshmana dedicated his life in the service of lord rama lord rama was his king and he was bound with his duties he had to dedicate his life to him like true soldiers who had to leave their wives and fight for the respect and honour of their kingdom he dedicated his life for the honour of his king his kingdom ...he did wht was required she did wht was expected from her they might live a happy life together but they chose to sacrifice for the protection of dharma ...for their loved ones they sacrificed each other... SACRIFICE OTHER NAME OF LOVE... do we really need a proof weather lakshmana remembered his wife or not wen the truth is infront of us..what cannot be scribbled is the powerful world of feelings that he felt inside him.love is not just a language but the delicate nuances...amd its variant hues...fall when you fall, rise when you rise.cry wen u cry love wen u love..see not just your face but all the little little lines that keep changing every moment and understand it even more...love you even when you do so criminally wrong to her, embrace you when you need it the most...let u go even wen you cant live without her...in one of the version lakshmana had a dialogue with sitamaa y he never.talked about her coz he was always there with him..she was there in his prayer she was there in his devotion she was there in his dedication INTERESTING isnt it...he loved her. thts y he returned head high and led a beautiful life with her they always loved each other... they had babies... they enjoyed the royal luxuries... they remain dedicated and faithful to each other😳 Y do we think he didnt remembered her ??????
