^^ Showing the Vedavati story is a must in any Ramayan in my opinion, as her curse is one of the many which Ravan got that caused his downfall. I'm glad both Imagine's Ramayan and Zee's have utilized their time and showed this story.

I would also like to see Sati/Parvathi disguise herself as Sita to test Ram's love. This story was not shown in any previous Ramayan, but it was shown in Devon ke dev Mahadev. I think it would be really interesting to see it on Zee.

yes i saw that story in DKDM and have read about it on some website too..it will be a nice addition

Jokes Apart Honestly..I am thrilled coz there so many versions,so many stories about Rama,Lakshmana ,Sita,Ravana..that I amcurious nad interested to know more.It is fascinating that the PH is trying and exploring new things and researching on such versions giving us something new and fresh..No matter how much AUTHENTICITY I love but exploring new avenues SPICES it up..As long as LAKSHMAN gets more and more scenes..Me all Geared to watch any version...Gond Ramyani bhi chalega re...😳OH BTW I love JAZZY BLUE NOW..Its becoming my fav colour day by day😳

I just wish this show was not called "Shri Ramcharitmanas Adhaarit" because that title misleads the audience greatly. If they want to incorporate other sources, fine, but then they should just call it Ramayan. Why say Shri Ramcharitmanas Adhaarit if they don't plan to stick to just one source?

@ Janaki-Ya Agreed it might be misleading at times but I the word ADAHARIT means BASED ...It means the storyline follows the main scriptures but I do not think that it is some kind of hard and fast rule that they only show what is written in the main texts.There have been many movies and shows which have been BASED on other books too which though following the main storyline had diff inputs too.The show is not named AUTHENTIC Ramayana..So I would love to give them the liberty of adapting and incorporating diff version and tales too ..Subjected to the condition that they do not offend religious sentiments.Reading and watching different versions expands our horizons and for ignorant ones like me ..I am still getting to learn so much

^^ I am not against incorporating other sources, hun. In fact, I prefer that only instead of using just one source because that would make a very enriched Ramayana that is more interesting, but the word "Adhaarit" is misleading because now people are thinking that everything Zee is showing is from Ramcharitmanas, when in fact it has already used other sources. I feel that the Sagars should make that clear and take "Ramcharitmanas Adhaarit" out of the descriotion. Sab Ke Jeevan Ka Aadhaar sounds a lot better and it should just stay like that.

dont worry janaki..i dont think they can incorporate lot many tales coz this ramayan is just 74 epis..so lets see how they do it..personally i would love to see unseen tales also

kya kare yaar..lakhan ji has left us with no choice..i cant believe that am actually into mythology thesedays..
