TOI : Action time for Ashish

Actor Ashish Sharma, better known as Ranveer in Rab Se Sohna Isshq, recently discovered his hidden talent — action choreography!

Currently shooting in London for the serial, the actor was required to enact a sequence where his character gets into a heated argument with street side bullies in a car junkyard. On realizing that there was no specialized action choreographer on the sets, Ashish volunteered to take complete charge of conceptualizing and executing the sequence.

A hardcore action movie buff, Ashish was just waiting for an opportunity to come his way. And when it did, he promised the unit to pull off a top-class action scene. Ashish designed animpressive fight sequence with the use of several interesting props such as slabs of steel, dismantled car doors, spanners, hammers and metallic chains from amongst the trash lying around in the junkyard. If insiders from the sets are to be believed, Ashish gave the Bollywoodbiggies a run for their money.
