Can someome tell me more about the three wives of dashrath,like where they came from,like there genology,etc,and please post the meaning and lyrics of the first two lines of the title song from Ravan.

3 wives of Dashrath : Kaushalya from Kaushalraj. Kaikey from Kaikeydesh...don't know the exact story but I guess she saved Dashrath and then he fell in love with her. Don't know much about Sumitra.

as far as I know.......sumitra was given to him as a gift.........because her father was a King, and Dasarath made him happy by doing something, so he offered her hand for marriage as his gift, sort of like a way to say thank you....

I dunno the details though.....this is just what i've heard....

Line 1: Dasgribh Dashanan Dashkandar
Dasgribh = Ten necked Dasanan = Ten Heads Dashkandar = Strength of ten people

Line 2: Main Ravan main hi lankeshwar
I am Ravan, the King of Lanka

In the serial shri krishna they showed Dashrath n Kaushalya were manu and shatrupa and they did a long penance to get bhagvan as their son.(don't know the source though)
