Chapter 3: Love is in the Air
Zoya sitting on the edge of the balcony, staring at the moon.
Thinking about her haunted past, suddenly a tear rolls out of her eyes.
Asad passing by her room, turns back again when he finds zoya sitting on the edge of balcony.
He enters her room without making any noise, reaches her and pulls her off the edge.
Zoya falls inside off the balcony with asad on top of her.
They both have staring moment.
"Mr. Khan, " zoya pushes asad off.
"what is wrong with you? what did you do just now? " asks zoya irritatingly.
"whats wrong with you zoya? What the hell were you doing? sitting on the edge of balcony, lost in thoughts, you were supposed to fall off. I saved you. replies asad with his temperature raised high tone.
"Stop saving me all time, you are not my saviour. You should have let me die. No need to do favours for me. next time if i die , do not save me zoya cries and runs away from there to washroom.
"zoya...listen to me damned says Asad, But his word go unheard.
"My nightmares are usually about losing you says Asad to himself and goes out of her room.
After 15 minutes, zoya comes out of the washroom, finds Asad nowhere.
"Was I too rude to Mr. Khan.? I shouldn't have spoken to him like that. He was just trying to save me. Why zoya Why you hurt this man every time. I need to apologize for my todays behaviour to him Zoya blames herself to be rude to Asad.
She lays on her bed, Thinking about all the things Mr. Arrogant did for her.
" Mr. Khan is good at heart. The one i saw in wedding and the one i ' m seeing now. There's a lot change in Mr. Khan Zoya has thoughts about Asad while she falls asleep.
(Morning at zoyas room: the maids and maidens are arranging her stuffs in cupboard, with brand new clothes. Cleaning her room)
zoya wakes up from her sleep.
she finds those maids busy arranging things for her.
"Excuse Me mam, Whats going on? What is this all going here ? Is anyone else gonna shift here? asks zoya to the maid.
"Room service going on, Asad sir has given us orders to take care of you and your brothers. answers the maid.
"But i can take care of myself!!!" says Zoya to the maid.
The maid listens but continue working.
Mam, which color dress do you want to wear today? asks the maid to zoya.
"What? get any replies zoya in irritation.
"Ok, i want to wear something bright today says Zoya again as she loves wearing bright colors.
"sure mam. replies the maid.
"Thanks...errr your name? asks zoya.
You can call me maid, thats fine says the maid.
" No , i will call you by your name, Cmon tell me your name asks zoya with smile.
"Its sherim mam the maid replies with wide smile.
"sherin come here, sit with me says zoya.
"no mam, that's ok says sherin.
"Ok fine,sherin Whats going here, I...i mean who told you all to get all this stuff done here? is it Ms. dilshad aunty? " asks Zoya
"No mam, Asad Sir told us to take care of you. To make sure that you are comfortable here. He personally ordered this outfits for you. replies sherin with a smile.
"whatt...Mr...Mr. Khan...errr...he did this Zoya relies in shock.
" ok fine, sherin, i will manage everything on my own, you please go now zoya's says humbly.
"Mr. khan is like a puzzle, at times he his Mr. arrogant and at times he is Like the most nicest person in the world. I mean he himself ordered dresses for me, that really shocking...like he exactly knew my choice...wow...bow to Mr. Khan zoya talks to herself.
Meanwhile zoya goes to washroom to get fresh.
Asad having conversation with his assistant the hall area.
"Ruby, i told you to get the list of all the top Schools in the town, show me? asks Asad.
"yes , here here it is, i have all the details here in this tab replies the assistant.
"Ok, good work, i will go through this today and will finalise one, the further procedures you will have to take care of, Is it clear says Assad.
"yes Boss, Dont worry. I will take care of it Replies Ruby with a smile.
" Ok , ruby so you leave for the office, i will join you post lunch says Asad and walks upsatirs to lead his room.
Asad busy talking on his phone to a client, taking staircases to lead his room, suddenly he see zoya coming running towards him when she suddenly loses the balance and suppose to fall but Asad holds her hand and sanes her from falling.
aasd pull her towards him, closer then ever.
Zoya remains to shout with her mouth wide open and eyes tight closed.
"Ms. Loudspeaker, will you please lower down your creepy screams Says asad in her ears.
Zoya still remain shouting, when Asad closes her mouth with his palms.
Zoya opens eyes wide, and stares at Asad for doing so.
"what...don't stare, i had no option, Asad says to zoya.
Zoya removes his palms off his mouth, tries to free herself off his arms,.
"I..thought, i might have fallen off the floor...so i screamed in shame says Zoya.
"Ohhh... i thought you do such stunts often, like yesterday...remember? " Asks Asad.
"Mr. Khan..., finally you learnt some jokes says Zoya with a grin on her face.
Asad is again mesmerized by her smile, it's her mischievous smile that makes him glad.
While Zoya leaving from there, Asad hold her hand, pulls her more closer, looks in her eyes.
"That wasn't a joke, You are something serious that happened to me , i saved you, and your life is mine now, so never even try to play with it...did you get it, Ms, Faruqi? " says Asad with intensity.
"zoya, silently nodding her head tries to escape from Aasds hold.
"Yes or no, Ms. Faruqi? Asah Asad holding her more tightly and even closer.
"ye...Yes, " whispers Zoya.
Asad loosens his grip on zoya's hands.
Zoya runs with her heart beats running at fast pace.No even more faster pace.
"Slower Ms. Faruqi says Asad with blushing face.
Zoya turns back ,blushes and hides behind the wall.
"What's happening zoya, why do this man fastens your heartbeats, his touch makes me feel safer and his eyes talks alot to me Zoya says to herself.
After a while, zoya comes to know that asad is admitting her brothers in Boarding school for further studies.To this zoya is hurted alot.
"I dont understand whats wrong with Mr. Khan, i don't need his beg, what he thinks he has own me, i know he has done alot for me but i cannot take any further helps from him in anger zoya goes to Asads room.
Zoya reaches asads room but finds no one inside.
She then goes for searching him all around the house, when she finds a attic like room on terrace (basically it's Asads painting room)
"Allah Miya, Why is this room so dark and creepy? Zoya enters the room wondering why its dark..
"Where is the light switch? " Zoya tries to finds with her hand on the walls.
She somehow manages to find the find the button, and switches it on, when a dim light is switched on.
"There was no light at all, and when it has its so sparkling, Wow Zoya comments sarcastically.
Zoya starts to take a tour of the room, she finds different paintings and clicks, which surprises her.
"This might be Mr.Khan's room, I have seen him clicking pictures in wedding , also he was the one for motivating me for the paintings Says Zoya to herself while looking at the pictures.
Whike walking around she stops at a point where she finds a photograph, a girl playing with kids in rains.
" I have seen this before, Where? this scenario has passed in my life? But when? zoya trying hard to find the answer to her calculations.
Allah Miya, Whats wrong with you, That is you and kids are your brothers , Zoya hits softly on her head, realizing such a fool was she for a moment for not recognizing herself.
Zoya laughing at this , suddenl,y wonders that there is a drawer where some more pictures are stored.
She opens it and takes around 20-25 snaps, she sees all them and finds to be her pictures.
"Ok, Mr. Khan is a Stralker, he clicked so many pictures of me, does he also feels the same like i do, but then why he never says anything? Strange, This man is complete mystery man Zoya says to herself.
While zoya watching the pictures and smiling, suddenly somebody comes in the attic, when zoya freaks out and is about to scream, when the man hold her mouth tight and comes in light, he pushes zoya near a wall.
"shh...calmmm...its me, Asad.Says Asad.
Zoya opens her hand, takes his hand off her mouth.
Mr. Khan whats wrong with you, Why you always have to do a zombie or horror entry that freaks me out Says Zoya sighing.
"What, Ms. Faruqui, What are you doing here? With whose permission did you enter this room? How dare you? " Asks Asad to Zoya.
Asad hardens his grip on zoya.
"Mr. Khan, its hurting, Please leave my hand zoya says in irritation.
"No, Answer me what are you doing here? Replies Asad.
Zoya pulls out the pictures out showing it to Asad.
"Look Zoya says and nods her face in questionable manner, raises her eyebrows.
"What?' I...i don't know how these came here.
"Mr. Khan, Done with lying? Now be true to me says Zoya.
"Ms Faruqi, this are the wedding pictures of my friend, if you liked them you can keep for yourself replies Asad.
"Sure, Because that all my pictures and should belong to me and not in your drawer says Zoya.
" Yea, i was suppose to give it to you, but then forgot it, you can take it and leave my room Asad saying it to zoya.
"Okay, MR. Khadus zoya says softly.
"Did you say something? asks Asad.
"yes...yea..I Said Thanks Zoya replies smiling at him, and teases him when he turns back at her.
While going zoya, finds her bracelet missing, she agains turns towards the attic to find it.
"Where is it, ohh yea found, there on the ground Zoya talks to herself.
"Ms. Faruqui, you still here, i told you to leave right? says Asad.
"Ohh,Mr. Khan, i forgot this bracelet here, just came to take it. Zoya says with smile on her face.
Asad Walks towards her slowly slowly.
"What...mr. khan...what you want...this bracelet...ok you keep it... Ok sorry i'm leaving says Zoya freaking out again.
Asad continues to walk at her.
"is Mr. Hitler possessed? See Mr. Khan m going, i won't come without your permission, OK Says Zoya while turning around to go back, when Asad pulls her hand and sticks her to the wall.
"Mr. Khan, says Zoya.
"ssshhh... you are so beautiful, when you keep talking i feel like you should never stop, even when most of the time you talk nonsense, When you dance, its like i cannot take of my eyes off you, i lost it on you... says Asad, discovering her beauty so closely.
"What you lost Mr. Khan, " zoya asks staring in his eyes.
"My heart, i lost it at you. says asad, and kisses her cheeks when zoya widens her eyes and likes his gesture.
Zoya pulls herself away and runs away, Asad realizes what he has done , he literally kissed her.
"Asad, Have you lost it??? What did you do just? Cant you control your emotions? says Asad to himself.
Zoya runs straight to her room, her breathes are heavier then ever. She is blushing over and over,no words to say but just feeling the touch of Asad.
"Why the heart beats this fast, when i am around Mr. Khan? Am I in love with Mr. Khan? how is that possible? He never told me that? but he being around me, gives me a positivity and i can feel him? is it Love? zoya confused with what's happening.
Zoya lying on her bed trying to sleep but struggling to try to get an answer to her questions that are revolving in her head.
She suddenly hears a noise in her window, she gets up and peeps out to see Shawn, standing and throwing a stone.
" Hey, Come Come, calls shawn when he see Zoya at window.
"Hey, This time? I cannot? whats is it regarding? asks Zoya surprisingly to see shawn down her window.
"Hey, if you don't come Down Miss Chamkili, I will throw the biggest stone of Asads Gardens, and trust me its as rude as your Mr. Khan Shawns says with Irritation.
" okay!!! dont act stupid, m coming down, give me a min says Zoya.
Zoya, wondering why is shawn calling her at this time , walks down the stair.
Zoya walks in the garden area, but finds no-one there.
"Shawn, you there, Shawn where are you? please dont play games with me, Tell me where are you? " zoya says out of panic.
She walks a little mile and then she stabs an stone and is about to fall when asad holds her in his arms and saves her from hurting the ground.
"Mr. Khan What are you doing here? Questions Zoya.
"What do you think, who called you here?Cross questions Zoya.
"Shaw... stops Zoya and realizes that it was shawn who asked her to come down but the mind was Asads.
"Asad, you..you asked him to call me down? asks Zoya surprisingly.
"Yes, Ms. Farooqui replied Asad
"so shawn asks Zoya
"He came here to call you down, if i would have ask you to come down, you would have gave silly reasons and denied replies Asad.
"Ohh i see, but what is the reason to call me here at this time Asad? asks zoya raising her eyebrow.
"Come with me says Assad holds her hand and takes her on the backside of the house.
Zoya don't say a word and walks with him. She feels so secured, she felt affinity, she felt like he is the man she could give herself for, she kept staring at her face while walking the destination.
"Zoya call out asad.
"yea..yea tell me replies Zoya.
"Lost? asks Assad
"No.. says zoya shyly
Zoya looks around to see if nobody is watching.
:Asad what is this? What's so important that you cannot tell me in the morning?asks zoya with curiosity.
"Zoya. This is very Important. i need to tell you this right at this moment. I cannot delay further as i cannot deal with this feeling anymore Says Assad
"Come to the point Mr. Khan says Zoya again her face waiting to listen what assad wants to convey.
"I love you Says Assad in Loud tone and cutting Zoya.
Zoya remains stunned for a second after listening to what Assad said.
"It means alot Mr. Khan. Please don't say it because you want to show some sympathy. This words meant alot to me, say it when you mean it replies Zoya, this time with her eyes filled with tears.
"Ms. Farooqui asad holds zoyas Hands and continues
"Look into my eyes, did this eyes lies? you are the best thing ever happened to me in my life. I don't care about your background, your past, your...anything, what i care is about you, about who you are and how brave you are. Its you who made me smile, its you who made me think positive, its you who made me feel alive. I am madly in love with you Ms. Farooqui and i cannot live without you says assad, this time his eyes filled with tears.
Zoya listens you him and her tears rolling down her eyes,she has mixed feelings, she is happy and at the same time emotional.
"Mr. Khan says zoya.
"Hmmm replies asad.
"You crying? asks Zoya while laughing at him.
"You made me emotional replies Asad, this time all his tears rolling down his eyes.
"I never thought of something like this,You make me feel alive as well. I love you mr. Khan. And yes i mean it says Zoya with grin and teary voice.
Asad Smiles and Hugs her tight ever and they spend their night with each other gazing at the stars.
While both Asad and zoya confess their love, Dilshad see them both hug and confess their feelings from a corner of the garden.
How would she react? will she accept the relation or will she be against it?
