Additi Gupta is playing the role of Sanam Khan in Qubool Hai, most popularly known as New Sanam. Currently she is the main antagonist of season 3. She is the second fake wife of the male lead who was conned into this marraige. Initially new Sanam was introduced as a docile girl brought from village by the mother of the male lead. She seemed to be helpless and innocent. Later after numerous episodes, it was revealed that New Sanam has the practice of doing black magic. Feeling Jealous by the closeness between male lead and his first wife whose name is also Sanam, New Sanam turned out to be an Evil Witch who now seems more interested in to money and property of male lead.At the end of Season 2 of Qubool Hai, New Sanam successfully separates the male lead from his wife and is now known as new Begum of Bhopal. What evilness she shows more with her supernatural powers is yet to be seen!

I think she is after Aahil for property and wealth but also because she is obsessed with him. The things that triggered her to turn bad. The catalyst point of her turning super vamp from cowering docile belle who at one point helped the SS twins was that she couldn't bear the closeness between Aahil and original Sanam. Aahil has become her obsession. Wealth she could have asked and Aahil would have given her everything just to get rid of her. But she wants to attain Aahil. Put her reins over him and gain total control on him, his life and most preferably his body.
