Aahil's characterization was strong, even as a weak man, his characterization was strong. That is something many miss. Yes, he manhandled her in the beginning but guess what the fans actually called him out on it and criticized it. The recent raising of his hand, that too fans criticized. And in fact, we have even agreed and said ourselves that it was not at all given the weight it required. That however was towards the end of S2, by which tike Aahil's strong characterization was not sketched out as much and was not given much focus--till the climax. Again, that never escaped people's criticism.

Season 2 was built on its story. And two people that absolutely hinged on was Aahil and Tanveer (as well as other characters, but they are never given the short end of stick when it comes to credit so for that reason only I am not mentioning them). AG/Begum Sahiba is hardly given any credit on the forum, but at least she's somewhat acknowledged.

Season two needed someone like KVB to play the character who was essential to its story. A weak man in many ways, but that was part of his characterization which had depth, which was part of the story. Yes, as the show went on that meant less focus on him itself, but the whole story still highly revolved around this man.

That story which brought QH to rise up from the ashes, the so-called weak man had a lot to do with it.

And another thing. Sanam always had agency when it came to SaHil. Always.

That's not something that can be said for Jannat. Not at all.

If SaHil has lost the charm longtime back, the petition that fans are signing to unite Sahil would not have got the immense support.

If Sehan the was reason for watching Season 2, we would have seen the same support from fans or media.

We can not compare Aahil with Shaad. Period. We have wait till the end of S3 to compare. What is the big deal if he saved Sanam..He is army man and he did it as a duty. He is not a common citizen who fought and saved Sanam. Another thing, he could have saved her by saying she is his friend or friend's wife or sister. I don't see any bravery, but . I have seen Zindagi hai gulzar serial, and as far as I know, Pakistan is very conservative. What they are showing is not going with Pakistan background. Hiding the truth from an unknown girl and staying with her in the same room , who can be someone's wife or sister or mother.

I have not watched any episode after their first meeting. If he is truly a gentleman, he would have worried about her family. Yes, Aahil was conned by vamps, con-women...Here Sanam is conned by a stranger who is using her for his own mission.

I am waiting for the TRP audience to come back and say what they really think of this cheap storyline! Sanam sleeping with another man, using a fake name! Ogling at his half naked body! Call her Jannat and it's all ok? So vulgar and tacky!

Soon they will show Sanam (Jannat) and Shaad consummate, and then she will get her memory back. Then she will find out she is pregnant and she won't know who the Father is! She will eventually divorce Aahil, coz she cheated on him! (Unknowingly yes, poor thing). But this proves she will beleive any man that calls herself her husband and will sleep with him, even when she does not remember him! Honestly the way she bahaves with him? She is such a bimbo!

So I hope this show gets such low TRP that they will be cancelled just like GK's last show with two wives and a husband! This time one wife with two husbands! But the same effect will happen! TRP audience have choice! They don't want to watch P**n at Primetime! This will soon turn into the RAHAFA story, and become as unbearable and cheap as that was! Any guesses who will become Faiz? The first husband of course! New Aahil will become Faiz and he will fall on his own spike and die!

Then this Jannat Sanam whatever her name is, can officially get together with her new BF, and live happily ever after in Pakistain! That is if Misbah dosent kill them first!

And we ever thought why Aahil had been always dense idiot, he has feeling she is alive but really what is doing but sulking? He never protected her before, never stood by her and even now by not doing anything but serving his other wife, he is killing moments.

I have never seen weaker male protagonist on Telly, gave enough time to him to rise but he never:(

Every character has a weak point that doesn't mean he she is weak! Same goes with Ahil! His character was always mixture of strong and weak points. Even after butchering him 100th of times we could connect to him due to depth of his characterization.

Guys zoya may be impulsive childish & do stupid things. But behind her acts it was all for others not for herself as Asad thought for a long time. Zoya was so selfless. Her ways may be weird. But she always had truth, principles & was gem of a person. She is not clingy or bimbo types like jannat. Just give jannat zoyas hairstyle & dresses & bg she won't be zoya. Zoya was zoya. Zoyas selflessness & her stupid funny ways for solving others problems & principles made us fell in love with her. Not like jannat who apparently doesn't have any characterisation. Also stop using seher every where. It's clearly shown sanam has met with accident & reached Pakistan. Not seher. Seher was much better than jannat.

I bet she will ask him why they are not having "marital relations" soon, coz she wonders why is Major Shady not getting "jiggy" with me? I am sure, to "maintain his cover" Major will be ready to do that too! ALL for his country of course! He is a HERO after all! The man has already shown he has no standards, so I am sure taking advantage of a women won't be an issue for him! He has taken advantage of her in every other way! So why not this way as well? They just killed all the 3 characters of sj by this jannat. All the three was good. I am not saying jannat is not good. But not this blind fool bimbo types. I really hope cvs won't stoop that low with shad & sanam characters.

@Jiya... : Many of us actually did watch season2 for SeHaan and tolerated SaHil for them. Just like it was vice versa for many SaHil fans. It doesn't make the other couple any less loved by their respective fans. And the only reason you guys could create a Brouhaha was because you have time. We were given 3 measly days after coming to know Rehaan will be shot and that too, none of the segments or articles out and out claimed that he will die and SS will be leaving. Or else even we would have emailed and petitioned. We had a false security over our eyes, you guys don't. That's the difference.

@Mandy: Stop burning your blood for this show. I'm telling you, it's not worth it. They will do what they want to. Watch the show with no expectations. I am doing that and I love the detachment.😆
