It is considered s 1 of the most important nights in Islam s on this night all the Muslims men women n children offer their prayers n also very do fatahaah which is very important n also offer prayers whole night.. It is also said that on this night it is decided that who will die n how many births will take place..
In short it is important night for the Muslims

I hope I m able to clear ur doubt...

I'm a Muslim and I don't understand which Chaand raat they're on about. There's Chaand raat which is often known as the night before Eid which basically is the night which detirmines whether it's Eid tomorrow depending on whether the moon is seen. There's Laylatul-Qadr which is in Ramadan and it is the "Night of power"and Shabi-baraat (also known as Laylatu-Bara'ah) which is before the month of Ramadan and is the "Night of record." And as far as I know there's no Chaand raat now I'm guessing it's cutural thing rather than religion?

There is no neeli peeli chand raat in Islam😆 As far I don't know being a Muslim! But its a show why search for logics and there is no need to relate anything with religion as they didn't follow it in anyway!

The one you are talking about is laylatul qadr, not chaand raat. Chaand raat is the night before eid ul fitr during which the moon is sighted which marks the end of the month of Ramadan. Right now there can't be any eid ul fitr or ramadan on qubool hai, so they are not celebrating chaand raat. They are celebrating something called neeli chaand and I haven't heard of any Islamic significance of that festival. Islam only has eid ul fitr and eid ul adha. Neeli chaand is most likely some regional/ cultural festival. Chaand raat is celebrated but on the night of qadr which is one of the odd numbered nights at the end of ramadan, muslims pray and ask for forgiveness.

Hey , anybody remember the movie " dil to pagal hai " ?
in that movie they came up with some crap about valentine day falling on a full moon day ?

like if valentine day falls on full moon day( night ) you will get your " someone special " on that day !😲

well i don't think that had any significance in any religion. please correct me if i am wrong.

i think gul khan has invented some new celebration of her own !

well chand raats are only the nights before the eids! which determine is der eid on next day or not!! these nights are only for reciting Qur'an and praying!! nothing else!! and that which these people are showing like neeli chand raat and life forever together wid loved one is nothing in relation wid Islam!
