Gazing into my eyes, he thinks, her outspoken apology. Her words explain a lot. And her apologetic eyes too. But wordlessly, he thinks further, wordlessly she conveys more.
A small smile creeps as she leaps to brush those moist lips to his burning cheek. And not too long later, his other cheek.
Tingling warmth spreads, reaching his heart, right to his toes.
Ja, maaf kiya. As he hugs her back with equal fervour.
