Another (late) General Rant 10.10.14

I haven't ranted in a while, hey? That's what happens when there is no time to watch the episodes on time.

Anyway, here goes.

It bugs me immensely how Tanveer treats Aahil. I mean yes, I know it annoys everyone and it's part of the story, but honestly?

He's a grown-ass man! Everyone forgets their phone, sometime, somewhere. He asked to use hers - not for the bloody Spanish Inquisition on who he wanted to speak to and all that.

Begum Evil is acting as though bodily fluids can be transferred through the damn phone!

But one has to give it to her. Blind as a bat, and she can find her way around some strange resort site and know exactly where her "beloved" son is.

W*F. Maybe I'm just rambling, but seriously, why does he need to explain who he wants to call and all that - he's not five years old.

And he needs to be the one to realise that.

Call me a hopeless romantic, but I think Rehan went to the temple because he couldn't help it. He wanted to see Sunehri.

The man is in love.

Sanam Sanam Sanam... I love her, but her timing? I don't love so much.

If she's about to take that newspaper with her to the function...

Lord, woman! Some things are for behind closed doors - not at some construction site on the bonnet of a car (I mean sometimes that's good, too hehe 😆), or at a business launch.

I didn't see the precap - Dilshad being towed in her wheelchair, behind Sanam's car?

God, my husband should never see that scene. He will never let me live down watching such a thing.

I'm on the fence about Rahat. I know he loves Haya... But how deep is his love?

It was not so deep last time when he put her hand in the hand of his brother, and asked her to sacrifice her feelings and her life for her love (him).

He sacrificed his love too, I know. But he did it by being a martyr. Sometimes we love and respect martyrs. In this case, I don't.

Dark hotel room alone? I guess everyone is thinking what I did, too...

Anyway Rahat. Do not disappoint me a second time. Do NOT make the same mistake a second time.

Who knows what's going to happen next? The forum is full of conspiracy theories, predictions and a whole lot of everything - it's SO cool haha!

We needed some drama, and it looks like we're going to get it.

I still don't want a slap. It's easy to say Aahil won't slap because he's a victim of child abuse... but.

Abusers are often victims of abuse themselves.

NOT ALL THE TIME. But often enough for it to be a concern.

A separation? I am up for that.

A swap? Even that doesn't bother me. Sunehri is too much in love with her Rehan to see anything in Aahil.

And come on, Aahil knows his Sanam from a mile away.

Sunehri and Sanam only have the same face - they are like chalk and cheese.

It's amazing how I don't even feel it's the same actress playing the two roles - amazing!

Exactly, he is not a 5 year old. And he did stand up to Tanveer very diplomatically during the theft scene. Why make a mamma's puppy out of him. Why the doubt on being good enough for Sanam after he had confessed his murder to her. They need to get AHil's character together. We saw Asad go downhill, now please let AHil not take his FIL's path. - All for the same woman.

Hmmm. Some food for thought there. There is one more serial, where this issued is touched upon - Mera Naseeb in Zindagi. In that serial too, the male lead has seen his father abusing his mom, and despite not wating to be like his dad, he ends up hitting his wife, though he regrets it later on.

Yes, kudos to SJ, for playing not two but three characters and making a mark with all the trhee. The innocence of Zoya and street smartness of Seher, and the maturity of Sanam are so distinctly visible.

Also, Aahil and his Ammi...OMG someone kill me? Talk about a co-dependent relationship? But then I thought... perhaps it's because of what she said about him never being a good husband. I think that is playing on his mind constantly. The years of conditioning is what got him to believe her so easily.

I have also been watching the show late as I was out of town and travelling. But have caught up now. The drama quotient is VERY high. No one knows what is going to happen now. Seeing Rehan after days was a sight for sore eyes. Shehezad is such a handsome guy. I have recently been watching some of the old episodes of QH, and I watched that infamous "Dori" scene of Sanam and Aahil in Aahil's room. But then I saw the video call that Rehan made to Aahil, as Sanam was trying to get out of the room. In that, Rehan sees Sanam in the background of Aahil's room, and he is about to speak, when she gestures to him "Please dont". He stays silent and just talks to Aahil about the "Australian clients" who are on the line, and Sanam uses that moment to get out. Rehan looked SO good in this black shirt with a Neru collar that he was wearing. I suddenly remembered how handsome he was. Today reinforced it to me. The guy is a hottie, and I dont think he is over Seher, no matter how mad he is at her, and Seher is still very much in love with him! Poor things! Kismat ke maare!

DUDE. Rehan is a cutie pie of freakin' note! And how HOT did he look in that tailored suit? I swear, that's all I thought as I saw him walking up the steps to the temple.

Sanam and Aahil...yeh dooriya, yeh thadap, yeh milne ki chahat. It's all there! Just love the longing they both have for the other. Love Aahil's new aviators and love Sanam's sari! HOT! I SO want him to see her in that Sari. He HAS to man, come on! What was the point of wearing something so fetching if your man ain't going to see you in it?

I want that sari - i MUST have it!

I saw the Wheelchair drag, and here in NZ, a women got dragged stuck to the back of a car for miles. It actually happened and she was not on a wheelchair either. Hopefully Sanam's car was going slow! Cat Mother is telling Rehan "All our dreams are about to come true son", and Aahil is seen saying "WHAT"? right behind them. Precap is totally trolling us! I am sure it plays out somewhat differently. Rehan and Tanveer's relationship truth is turning out to be Season 2's "Abbu Truth". The RAAZ that NEVER gets revealed until we are almost ready to break our TV over it!

Precaps always do that. Especially when drama is at it's peak, I find that they cut scenes to create hype among the viewers.

You are so right about the Rehan/ Tanveer relationship truth. It is going to drive us mad - it certainly already did that to me when Rehan was still in the Ibrahim house.

Rahat and Haya? They both looked good. Looks like they are going to "consummate without marriage". Aab kya hoga Haya ka? Will she end up pregnant and leaving both brothers, when she finds out she is a pawn in their "Halala" game? This is QH, kuch bhi ho saktha hain? But the most ironic part is that we were waiting with bated breath for a SAHIL confession, a SAHIL consummation, and instead we are getting RAHA confession and RAHA consummation!

Hahaha! You think RaHa are going to consummate?

I doubt... but well, we know anything can happen.

I have said it before, and I will say it again "Gul ki Maya, Gul Hi Jaane"!

But while we're on the subject of Rehan... In the beginning I fought everyone, saying I was sure he was going to turn grey, if not completely negative. How he finally left, changed my mnind and I really started feeling for him.

The one thing that's worried me in the last few episodes was how Sunehri was so confident when she spoke to her Bappa, saying that now... Rehan will never trust another person in his life again.

It just sounded ominous to me, but I hope I am just reading too much into something, or that it was said to troll us again and keep us on our toes about whether Rehan becomes negative or not.

Personally, I don't think he could, because then he and Seher couldn't end up together.
