Great post! Yes I agree. Rehan is a good guy and he deserves something good! I dont know why people don't want SEHAN. They have the potential to be the other great love story of Season 2. Maybe a bit more lighthearted at the start, coz Seher is a crazy girl. But trust me, this will get super intense very soon!

I find the Rehan - Seher dynamic extremely promising. After all, they both grew up away from their biological family in an orphanage for some years and will have a certain connection! Both Seher and Rehan have a sibling each. Sanam and Haya. THEY grew up with grandma. But SEHAN grew up alone. Also, Seher comes across full of bravado, but I bet my bottom dollar, she is a lot more vulnerable inside than Sanam is! Sanam is a very strong girl. She is not pretending to be strong, she just is!

But Seher? Most of it is an act with her! She is like Khushi of IPKKND, smiles all the time, but hides a certain vein of sadness inside her. I think this love story could be extremely promising. Rehan is a gentleman and Seher a Tapori girl. I think they will make a killer combo. Like I said in another post. IF a girl like Seher ever needed a husband? It is a guy like Rehan.

Rehan conceded defeat to Aahil. He figured out Aahil loves Sanam. So I give him chops for removing himself from the situation. He didnt when Sanam and Aahil first got married, coz Mum led him up the garden path into beleiveing that Sanam will be free in a few months. But now looking at the situation, he can see that this is not the case. Aahil is in love with her, and she seems to be going down the same path too. She called him a "Friend" and he was all upset about it, when Aahil came and told him to back off coz she is "MY wife"! Of course he was not going to stay after that!

He decides to leave, and destiny brings him face to face with his "REAL" story! Seher! Hum Kahaniyo ko nahin, kahaniya humain chunti hain!

Surbhi is a cool actress and its her acting that i can differentiate the sisters in a bit... they are 2 diff persons. Rehaan is not a shallow person. He is layered too. He was friend zoned by Sanam and his displeasure was not lost... that sad smile he gave when Sanam was fangirling her husband...he knows Sanam enough to know, she wouldn't say good, unless she found Aahil really good...! he was nursing his broken heart when Aahil attacked him.

He was drowning himself in self pity... poor me...Bhai doesn't love me, Mom doesn't love me, Sanam doesn't love me and lo... he sees Seher(nobody loves her too and she deals with it better)

they'll form a team and i bet they'll give us a good parallel lead couple..

I so want Rehaan to give a cold shoulder to Aahil once they meet again... no Bhai bhai again... Uski company bhi chod dena Rehaan... and give him business competetion too... ...I get carried away in all diff directions... if someone reads its good, if not, I'm still ok...

Fabulous post! About Rehan, I also don't think he will turn negative. If he was supposed to, then they (the CVs) would have have turned him negative by now. As you have said, Aahil has taken so much from him, but he is still able to see past that and understand Ahil and his Ammi. I like how the CVs are shaping up his character.

Great post! I am a sporadic watcher of this show and until the last few episodes I wasn't totally sold on any of the couples in the new season. Nobody beats 4Lions for creating chemistry out of nothing, and I will watch their stuff just for that again and again, but *ideally* I like to see something a little deeper, some meaningful connection between two romantic leads. Until yesterday's episode, I wasn't convinced that Sanam and Ahil were meant to be or that Rehan wasn't better for Sanam after all (don't kill me!), given how well he knows her and respects her dreams.

But after seeing Seher and Rehan at the orphanage at the same time, I had an epiphany! 😲

Seher and Rehan share a common past of neglect and self-sufficiency. They seem to have grown up effectively on their own and with little or no adult support but both just dealt with it differently (which kind of echoes Asad and Zoya). On the other hand, Sanam and Ahil share a common past of bearing the burden of their families' needs, on which they place endless emphasis. They are both kind of black-and-white, all-or-nothing people.

And that is precisely the reason Sanam would have eventually turned out to be totally wrong for Rehan, when the crap hit the fan, i.e. when the Ahmed Khan sisters discovered how ammi and abbu really died. Sanam might never be able to see Rehan as separate from Tanveer because that is just how she views relationships, all or nothing. Seher, on the other hand, due to her life experience, will actually be able to understand and accept the grey shades of Rehan's past and accept him for who he has made himself, despite where he came from.

Rehan chose someone he could give his love to, but destiny brought him to someone who can actually love him completely in turn. That's pretty groovy. 😊
