Today made me cry.
I love the characters of Aahil, Sanam and Rehan. I have defended and been protective about each one of them against another at some point in time.
It boggles me the dislike for Rehan.
As I said in another post, a friend of mine told me "if it were any other PH, Rehan would've turned negative after the Nikkah." I now realize it's also the added factor of being Tanveer's son. And now I think I do agree with her. So many were expecting and wanting him to be negative because 1) he's the other side of the 'triangle' and 2) because he's "Billi's blood."
It would have been so easy--as well as lazy and unoriginal. But I am glad they never went that way.
The back story for QH2 is one with much depth and nuances. It's one of the USPs, and it drives the story. (Ignoring the other crap going on in another house right now).
Today affected me. And actually, a few times while I was typing out my replies, certain lines made me sad again and I felt emotions swelling up again.
Aahil-Rehaan.
"Khuda Hafiz, Sanam"
That last poignant shot when Sanam looked and it wasj just an empty, quiet foyer and empty doorway.
Khuda Hafiz, Rehan. Till we meet again. And I know you won't be negative then either.
