Aahil witnesses yet another tender moment between Sanam and Rehan. She is desperate for information about her parents, and Rehan kindheartedly went in search and found something. Asad Ahmed Khan was a very rich and well respected businessman in Bhopal, who lived in a large mansion.
Sanam was so happy she clasped his hand in gratitude (some may say a little too long, and improper for a married woman, but ...) but it dare I say it was misinterpreted by BOTH Rehan and Aahil.
Rehan had a kitten after a tummy scratch face, while Aahil went up in flames literally.
(Sanam really needs to stop holding hands and looking into Rehan's eyes, or someone is going to kill someone else)
Aahil corners Sanam in their bedroom, he's seething with jealousy as he enquires where she was. He refused to believe that she had been with his Ammi visiting her grandmother, instead choosing to think she was out with Rehan. She reacts angrily and refuses to explain anything to him.
Why are you so concerned about me?? Why does it matter to you where I've been or with whom? Who am I to you??
This part broke my heart. Aahil so hurt that she asked him that. The pain in his face... (Oh No.. Aahil! Come here!! *hug*)
He's so taken aback by her question, that he lets her go for a moment. But doesn't let her leave. She comes straight to the point, something very astute from Sanam in a long time...
You are jealous aren't you? You're jealous of my friendship with Rehan, right?
Everything gets shot to hell right then. Men don't like acknowledging that they are jealous, Sanam!! Aahil is no less. He denies angrily, reiterating that he married her at his mother's behest and for the properties.
Which is exactly what Sanam thought.Why would a rich man like you marry a poor village girl like me? I'm not the sort of girl you like, like the girl who was with you that night? Who speaks crisp English and laughs loudly. Flirting with you, touching you without reason, as though she had every right to???
uh oh Sanam, you just lit up a Huge blimp in the sky that said: I AM JEALOUS. He had this look: like he was slightly pleased that she was jealous too. And she wouldn't admit it either.
Aahil, she doesn't get it !! She doesn't know you love her, you !
She refuses to budge. And he looks exhausted from the exchange: Okay fine, so this marriage means nothing to both of us, right?
Don't give up Aahil !!
What's sad about all this is although they love each other, Aahil and Sanam don't know anything about each other. Aahil doesn't know Sanam's looking for her parents, and Badi Ammi is sick. And Sanam doesn't know Aahil's issues. Their bond is very weak for now. No trust, no communication.
They are so not ready to be a couple. They need more marinating.
But the sad rejection in Aahil's face worries me. I hope he doesn't go from posessive to outright antipathy. Because she's about to be removed, either by Tanveer herself or Razia.
Razia is sent by Tanveer to inject poison into Dilshaad Bi. Sanam overhears her giving directions to Razia to find the ward room. Unfortunately Dilshaad has been discharged!! Phew! Castle piece saved for another day's match...
Tanveer is so panicky that she's not careful anymore. Its really fun to watch her shake in that gorgeous sari...
