First we get Aahil wraping himself up in some Sanam. Not only that, he has wrapped himself around her waist too! Symbolic, much?
Then he's looking all pouty and vulnerable like a child, fisted hands in his sleep and all.
Then he turns up looking like the picture of a Nawab, all Muslim tameez and tehzeeb! Did anyone notice that he has started wearing more clothing lately? He knows his wife it not into his nanga punga act. She said as much before, he does not wear proper clothing. Look at him turn all this around for her. He is trying to change himself by going to mashjid. Poor Sanam doesn't notice. That is the appeal of the bad boy ladies, we think we can change them. That's why an Aahil wins over a Rehan, the prize comes at a higher cost, after some struggle (but it rarely happens in real life, be warned).
Sanam of course is beautiful as always. She has softened toward him, expects presents from him, gets jealous, only notices him in his full attire, doesn't really notice Rehan in the room. She has gone full wifey and even Aahil noticed that! She is all concerned when he has a nightmare.
Love will be slow to develop for her and who can blame her? I would have a hard time warming up to Aahil too. But she notices his bosotted, gobsmacked expressions when he looks at her. She knows that there is some fierce tension between them. Esp. during the chaand raat, they are in their own little electrically charged bubble. Aahil is all about Latif not hurting her when the bangles come off, she is all about which way he is heading in the next moment.
Great episode, more than makes up for the spawns of nepotism who will hijack the show tomorrow to shamelessly promote their film. Bollywood really has no shame, making these poor TV shows and their characters fall out of character and story to accomodate their personal interests. What is worse, most of them reek of superiority over the TV actors when they come both on and off screen. Guess what? TV actors are harder working and most often come from more respectable (not rich) families and have a better education than the lot. The idea of a V. Dhawan coming to a dance show and telling a senior, established actor that he expects more good things from him while just being two films old (one of daddy's) is SICK and disrespectful. I have no sympathy for them, no matter how big a jashn it is. This is blatant self-promotion and to be honest, most Bollywood films are not up to par these days, especially with the siblings, kids and cousins of stars coming in. This is why they have to hijack every soap on TV while the true outsider, SRK, can do actual publicity in British and Indian talk shows. Soon enough it will get incestous even in film because brother and sisters will have to act together in romantic roles. There just isn't anyone who is not related to the anyone else.
While we are at it, let's note than a 300 pound girl would never be offered a three film lead without connections, this is Bollywood. I say this as an admirer of Parineeti's acting. This kind of good fortune will not fall on the guy who plays Latif for example and that tells you that Bollywood is incestous and still against all body types. They would never wait for Latif to make a six-pack for a hero role. Trust me, talent is well dispersed and so are looks, they don't run in the family generation after generation. If that were true, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis would produce the next A-listers.
