That line from Rehan last Thursday as he told Aahil of his intention to propose to Sanam. It touched my heart, such a little thing it but the way he said it, I could never forget. Mere Aahil Bhai. But I didn't want to dwell on it because I was afraid to dwell on it, not knowing how they would write Rehan's reaction to SaHil Nikkah.

But today, as sad as the Nikkah episode was, I am glad they haven't messed up or ruined Rehan's character. I am glad that he saw all that happened and how it happened during the Nikkah. And he rightly blames his Ammi and not his Aahil Bhai.

Yep,am glad too that Rehan blamed the real culprit and not the hapless bride& groom, who were as helpless as he was.
I'm hoping they would maintain Rehan's good nature & his friendship with Sanam plays out positively, unlike his Mom's with her Dad. She betrayed Asad's trust & literally back stabbed him.
Will be nice to see him bringing, his Ahil Bhai & his Bhabhi together after their war breaks out.

Yup, we are all grateful and thankful he blames Tanu. The episode played out brilliantly. Kudos to the QH2 and the team.

Awww. I don't know how Rehan will go after this. If and how long he will keep his distance from Aahil and Sanam. Will have to wait and watch to find out I guess.

Yeah. SO far so good.
But Rehaan is their trump card.
Can use him against Ahil or against Tanveer or both.

Well...we are all asking too much of R.
If it had been ARI who had to watch as R married S and lived in the same house we would have shed buckets of tears for him, and told him to leave.
But because ARI is the real 'hero', we all want the other good guy to hang around and be a friend to S, no matter how much it pains him...and then, as consolation prize, have the twin sister come and be his mate (as some are suggesting).
Nope. Does not work that way.

I would much rather R left, perhaps stayed with Dilshaad (to remain in the story), but then came back later during the unmasking of Tunveer.

Hopefully, by then he would at least have lanced his wound and it would be a dull throb instead of a stabbing pain.
i.e. He needs to get on with life and in constant presence of the unattainable object of his affection may be too much for him.

If he gets to know about the 3-month clause, he can wait to see what S's decision is...if she wants to stay in the marriage he can bow out of her life other than in periphery, and if she does divorce, he can reappear at 3-months to be there for her.

One brother to another...each will understand. And it is good they showed that bond and how it has held even though this farce.

Jayne, I am not expecting or wanting him to stick around Sanam. If he does I'm not going to say he shouldn't, and if he does I'm not going to say he should.
Chances are likely he will keep or try to keep his distance for some time.
