Losing a loved one is does strangest things. Sometimes it gets people together and sometimes it tears them apart. For Dilshad Ahmed Khan (Shalini Kapoor) and Shireen Ahmed Khan (Shabnam Sayed) it has taken death of Rashid to bring them together. Their loss is giving them a bond that though tenuous may just help them cope. A connection sought, may not be kindred spirits but they could console each other. They have hated each other, their very existence in their husband's life for a long time, but they perhaps understand each other the most now that their loss is same.
And on the other hand, it is taking two people who love each other so much apart. Zoya Farooqui (Surbhi Jyoti) and Asad Ahmed Khan (Raqesh Vashisht) are on the opposite side of the fence who are unable to cope with their loss and give comfort to each other. She has lost a friend she had found since she came to India, whom she sought advice from and got. An understanding that had formed out of a chance meeting. While Asad Ahmed Khan has hated his father for a long time, had finally come to understand the man who had had to make some tough decisions in life.
Today, his departure to heavenly abode, has filled some cracks and opened some up. Will these cracks stand the test of time or will people like Razia Siddiqui (Alka Kaushal) and Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) take advantage and drive a hammer (may be sledgehammer) through them?
Does losing a loved one short circuit our ability to think lucidly? Is departure from one's normal character part of a mechanism that helps one cope with pain? And does seeking comfort in perhaps the most unlikely people make us more human? A thought.
Qubool Hai will reach a crescendo in couple of weeks that will turn the story completely. Watch how things turn out every Monday to Friday at 9:30pm on Zee TV.
