This is during the time when Asad decides to go with Zoya to New York and Zoya agrees. Except, just imagine this occurred on December 23, 2013. For 5 days, they settled down so they finished unpacking on December 28. And Zoya wanted to give Asad a tour of New York on the 29th of December and told him that they will visit Time Square for New Years.

New years were coming up. New year,new life. It's time to start this year afresh. No problems... no nothing. No more problems in life and start to start my new life with Zoya.
While completing his thoughts, he heard the sound of his door open. Well who could it possibly be, Zoya ofcourse.
Asad turned around to face his fiance but stopped in the middle. His breath hitched just at the glimpse of her. She was wearing a beautiful black sari with blue borders. Her blouse was of the same blue color and was full sleeves with sparkles toward the wrist. The black part of the sari was beautifully designed with glitter at just a few spots. Her hair fell at her shoulders and covered her upper back with just just her bangs lusciously curled. Her eyes were line thinly with eye liner and wore just put clear lip gloss to add shine to her naturally pink, plump lips. She defined beauty in all ways possible, or atleast that was what Asad thought. She wore beautiful black flat. She contemplated on whether or not to wear heels or flats but she knew what a clutz she was, her next door neighbors knew what a clutz she was, heck-- even China knew what a clutz she was.
Zoya came and walked towards him and stopped a few feet away. Asad was dazed looking at her until he heard Zoya bombard him with her typical blabbering.
Zoya: Why aren't you ready yet? This time I'm ready right on time and here you are in your sweats and t-shirt. What happened to always being on time Akdu? Do you know you only have ten minutes to get ready. Hurry up!
Asad: Okay. Aside from that, why did you get so cleaned up. Were going to time square, not to a business party.
Asad and Zoya were going to Time Square so they can watch the ball drop and welcome the New Year.
Zoya was at loss for an answer.
Zoya: Ummm...
Zoya blushed a deep shade of pink but Asad already was aware of what she was thinking. Zoya dressed up nice because she has always wanted her first kiss to be with her first love on New Years day so she dressed up nicely but she never admit it. However Asad was one step ahead of her.
Zoya: Okay ignore that, just go get ready.
She was trying to get out if this conversation as quick as possible so after saying so, she ran out of the room blushing.
After Asad got ready they both put on their coats and headed out to Time Square.
Zoya got worried as she thought she was late but thankfully they got there at 11:56 PM.
Zoya: Allah Miyah! Ghatiya driver! We could have been late!
Asad and Zoya squished themselves through the crowd to get themselves a good view of the ball. But Asad held Zoya's hand as tight as ever noticing the gazes that Zoya was receiving. When they found a perfect spot they stood there. While Zoya watched the ball mesmerized by it, Asad looked at his glow in the dark watch and saw it was 11:59PM.
He thought to himself, 'Okay, it's time.'
He gently took Zoya by the shoulders and turned her to face him.
Zoya was shocked but before she knew it, Asad's lips captured hers gently. They had a light, feathery kiss. They didn't even realize the crowd around them counting down from 10-1 because they were lost in their own little world.
Asad then released from the kiss and checked the time which was exactly 12:01AM. He attached his forehead with a blushing Zoya.
Asad: And that Zoya, was the best and most beautiful way to end last year and start the new year. Now this, is the correct way To Start a New Year.
And he once again captured her lips yet again in a light feathery kiss in which felt like eternity.

Ok... umm... yah I just wrote that.
II wanted to post this tomorrow on New Years Eve but I have loads of homework in which I plan on piling myself with.
