You know that was an awesome post.

Although I won't accept anyone other than KaBhi as AsYa, and won't watch AsYa scenes henceforth...still I will watch Qubool Hai.

Karan & the channel...both sides are at fault. We aren't getting the whole picture yet. So I will not side with anyone.

I blame both sides for trolling us like that.

I have learnt my lesson, never to watch an Indian daily Soap. This was the first, and will be the last.

I wish KSG gets well soon. Wish good luck to both sides & Qubool Hai.

Things are gonna get nastier when Zee replies back. And who knows, at the end we will get him back as Asad only!😆

When the news of KSG's departure broke out At first I for one could not see anyone else as Asad Ahmed Khan, then I thought about it and I realised that a Character can be played by any actor as long as said actor does justice to the role, I for one will continue with the show because I am a fan of Qubool Hai first, and the actors second.

But just to air my preference, If KSG is really gone, then I would want Iqbal Khan to fill the shoes of Asad Ahmed Khan since Iqbal Khan has proved time and time again that he is a wonderful Actor, he is handsome, he can step into the role and still make it believable and that he is capable of playing the Angry young man which Asad Ahmed Khan has been categorised into.

Karan Singh Grover is a good actor but as they say in showbiz, "the show must go on"

I completly understand

And it's now comfirmed that he leave and they also have a new AAk

If KSG is replaced I am not worried about the AsYa pairing at all because Surbhi has the acting chops and the ability to adapt to the situation and even if the result is not as grand as the old pairing it will be at least tolerable.

In a way I agree with you but when life gives you lemons you unfortunately have to make lemonade to make a bitter situation sweeter. I am just trying to take the bitterness out of the whole thing because lets face it, Surbhi does not deserve to be left in the lurch simply because KSG and the production team had a fall out

I am also glad that everyone is critiquing this thread respectfully and has adhered to my wish of not bashing anyone, this thread is to show the inconsistencies with the stories we have been hearing and for us to think rationally before we point fingers and pass judgement. I for one will have a hard time seeing some one else as Asad but as I have said before the right actor in the part will be able to salvage the character and by extention the show.

My preference is Iqbal Khan and I welcome everyone to share their preference on this thread. I do ask however that if you do not like any actor suggested or cannot see any one else play Asad please refrain from bashing others who express their opinion, this thread is a bash free zone

READ HIS INTERVIEW. HE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A CONTRACT WITH ZEE OR 4LIONS. THEY DIDNT RENEW HIS CONTRACT. HE WAS DOING THEM A FAVOR FOR TWO MONTHS WORKING WITHOUT CONTRACT. THEY(ZEE) REALLY STOOPED SO LOW.

thnxx for the post!!..u made some things clear..
n yeah, all the other cast of qh specially surbhi has loads of talent..
i would watch qh for surbhi because she deserves this!!
i have complete trust in her acting skills( pls watch todayz epi, u'll get to know)..
but somehow i can never ever visualise asya beyond kabhi..u can call it madness or love or whatever..
for me kabhi=qh
ksg= asad ahmed khan...
will carry on watchin show only n only for surbhi..
will skip asya scenes now!!!!...

I have read his interview, I have also read the interview he gave in October where he said that he was not leaving the show...All I am saying is that there are inconsistencies with both sides of the story and such an issue could have been easily resolved but has been blown out of proportion thus ruining the show

It was my intention to bring to light the inconsistencies of the whole controversy because one minute everyone is saying that KSG was contracted and the next minute after the issue has been blown wide open we are hearing something else. I for one do not believe any statements made by KSG or ZEE right now because as a law student I can clearly see that this is a potential defamation matter therefore each party will try to push the blame on to the other, but I will say this... the rest of the cast does not deserve to suffer because one person has left the show therefore I will continue to watch the show as even though I was an Asad Ahmed Khan and KSG fan I am Also a Zoya/ Surbhi Jyoti fan so I will not play favourites.

I know for a fact that it will take me a while to adjust to the change in the actor playing Asad but as I have said it before the right actor in the role might just surprise us. I will miss KSG and I wouldn't want him to leave the show but as I am not KSG, FourLions or Zeetv I have nothing else to do but hope that this situation is at least salvageable for the characters I love and the actors who play them.

In my mind this was a simple issue that could have been resolved without dragging people's names and careers though the mud and this was a matter that should have been resolved amicably behind closed doors and if the parties were slightly flexible this situation would have never occured

There is probably more going on in the background than you and I know. So far, only three people know what the truth of this whole thing is-Gul, KSG and the PH. We can only speculate on what has happened.

I'm standing on the by lines on this. The story line and concept drew me in, followed by the bonus of the chemistry of Kabhi which was evident sans and post Tanveer, then the story became stupid, followed by the look sported by KSG (yes I am shallow) which for me, reduced AAK's image into the ground.

This is not the first time that I have experienced the departure/replacement of an actor and no doubt it won't be the last. There was enough fallout on the forum so much so that it took a long while to recover. There are bigger things going on in real life that take precedence over an actor who will move on and create another entity for himself. I wish him good luck on that. But we need to see the world for what it is.

But with BS the situation was Different his Fans didn't accept the idea of him being replaced or Bring another hero so They demanded for the show to get close with a happy note even the scene of his character's death was shot but due to the huge demand from his fans n Arshi's fans the show got closed [BR
]So There is NO Similarity between the two situations 😭 😉 😡
