as you have told me the main part then,,
i guess she may go into coma,, brain injury may lead to coma, you must have seen in the shows too,, any fracture in the skull may effect underlying tissues and can lead to unconsciousness,, and if damage is high then its prolonged unconsciousness,, which is referred as Coma,, so technically she may RIP, and more elaborately RIC,😉😉😉
Cardiac arrest/heart attack is also a major reason,, and while getting injured severely sometimes heart gets weak too, and its working is effected,,
