Helloo everyone!! Well I am here with my 1st introductory update of this FF. Hope you like it!! 😊

Part 1:

It was 8:30 in the morning and Humeira was getting ready to leave for college.

Humeira: Ammi, I am leaving!!

Shireen: Wait dear. Take your lunch and go.

Humeira: Oops!! I totally forgot.

Humeira went to collect her lunch from her mother, when she suddenly remembered something.

Humeira: Ammi, Zoya Baaji took her lunch??

Shireen: When has your sister gone to office without forgetting something?? Today she left her lunch and went.

Humeira: Oh No!! What will she have for lunch then??

Shireen: No worries beta. She will share with Tanveer. Acha, you are getting late to college. Leave now.

Humeira took her bag and left to her college.

Location: On the road:

Zoya: Ya Allah!! Why do you have to do this to me???

Zoya was standing on the road stranded, dressed up in a white anarkali suit, with her scooty which had a puncture in one of its tyres. It was raining heavily and Zoya was searching for an alternative to reach office.

Zoya: Stupid scooty!!! Today only it had to have a puncture??? Anyways, I can't waste a minute now. I shall park my scooty nearby and hire a rickshaw and go to office.

Zoya parked her vehicle nearby, and hired an auto-rickshaw and left to office.

On the way, there was a blockage on the road and it created a heavy traffic.

Zoya: (To the driver) Bhaijaan!! When will this clear???

Driver: I guess an hour Madam.

Zoya: Kya??? An hour??

Zoya looked at her watch.

Zoya: Acha Bhaijaan. I am getting down here. My office is nearby and I shall walk and go.

Zoya paid the auto driver and ran to her office amidst the heavy rain.

Location: AAN Interior Designs:

Zoya: Oh Godd!! I have reached so late!! That too, first day with the new M.D. I hope he doesn't shout at me!!

Zoya came all drenched to the office and Tanveer came running to her.

Tanveer: Where were you Zoya?? How many calls I gave you?? Well, the new MD has come. He is so strict yaar!! He read out a list of rules and regulations for 15 minutes. He enquired about his secretary and you were not there. He became really frustrated. Go and speak to him.

Zoya: (Tapping her head) I am dead!!! Ya Allah!! Why do you have to do this to me?? Okay, keep my bag in my workspace. I will meet him and come.

Zoya adjusted her hair and tried to dry away her wet dress and knocked the M.D's door.

"Come in"

Zoya walked inside and saw a man well dressed in a black formal suit referring to a file facing the other side.

Zoya: Good morning Sir!! I am extremely sorry!! I am a bit late...

He turned around and threw the file on the table and shouted,

"18 minutes late!!!"

They both saw each other's faces and were surprised.

Zoya: (In her mind) Ohh My God!!! This is Asad right??? Ya Allah!! Why do you have to do this to me?? I have to work under him???? That too as his secretary???

Asad: (In his mind) Zoya??? She is working here??? Well, even though it's nice to see that my rival is working under me, it's intolerable to look at her face every day!!

Asad walked forward to Zoya and both of them stood face to face with hatred filled expressions at each other.

Asad: You are my secretary???

Zoya: (Turning face away from him) Yes.

Asad: Well, what is your name???

Zoya gave a stunned look at him hearing that.

Zoya: (In her mind) Itna Attitude hai tumhe??

Asad looked at her blankly expecting an answer.

Zoya: I am Zoya. Zoya Farooqi.

Asad walked back to his chair and sat down looking at her.

Asad: Is the time you come to office every day??

Zoya: No Asad, I ...

Asad stared at her on hearing Zoya taking his name, and Zoya too realized what she uttered just then.

Zoya: I am sorry Sir. Well, my vehicle had a puncture and there was traffic on the way and...

Asad: Listen Miss Zoya. I don't care about all these things. You have to plan accordingly to the situation. This is an office and not a school or college to give such excuses. If you repeat this again, you will be punished!!

Zoya: (Without looking at him) Yes Sir.

Asad: My staff must be very punctual. And especially you, Miss Zoya, being my secretary I need you be here earlier than anyone. You must have completed all the schedules and meeting minutes and it must be ready on my table at 9 am sharp.

Zoya: But Sir, the office timing is...

Asad stood up.

Asad: No ifs' and buts'. Do what I say!!

Zoya: Yes Sir.

Asad handed over three files to her.

Asad: I have explained the work to be done in all these files. Get it done in 2 hours. You may leave now!!

Zoya collected the files and walked out of his cabin.

Asad sat back in his office chair and was thinking.

Asad: (In his mind) I never thought that I had to face you in my life again Zoya!! But look at your fate. You are working in a post below me, that too serving me as my secretary!! You have got what you deserve!!

Meanwhile Zoya threw the files in her table and sat down with an irritated face.

Tanveer came near Zoya, sitting in her office chair.

Tanveer: Kya hua Zoe?? He chilled out??

Zoya: Hmmm...

Tanveer: What hmmm?? Why are you so tensed by the way?? What's wrong??

Zoya: (Shouted) Everything is wrong since morning!!! I wondered why my day was so bad since I woke up. Now I realize!!

Tanveer: Areyy!! Hua kya Zoe?? Tell na??

Zoya: Nothing!! You do your work. I have work to do.

Zoya took the file and started her work, but her mind was not in a peaceful state.

Zoya: (In her mind) No way!! I can't handle this!! Working under Asad is purely impossible! I would better do some household work rather than working for him.

Zoya continued with her work.

Later, after some time, Zoya went to Asad's cabin with all the files.

Zoya: Excuse me Sir!!

Asad: Yeah!!

Zoya: Sir, I have completed the work which you said.

Asad went through the files while Zoya was looking at the wall.

Asad: Alright.

Zoya was still standing there lost in thoughts.

Zoya: (In her mind) Shall I tell him that I don't want to work here with him?? Or should I speak to Ammi before telling him??

Asad: Excuse me Miss Zoya!!!

Zoya came back to normal.

Asad: Do you have anything to do in my cabin???

Zoya: Well...no. Sorry!

Zoya left the cabin and gave a thought about her decision.

Zoya: I will speak to Ammi about this and then tell him tomorrow!! That's final!!

Zoya walked to her table.

Location: Khan Mansion:

It was one of the exotic houses in Mumbai and there was loud music in the living room.

Dilshaad: Ya Allah!!! What is this noise???

Dilshaad came running from the kitchen to the living room.

Dilshaad: Ayaan!! Najma!!!

Ayaan and Najma turned to their mom, still dancing for the music.

Ayaan: Yes Mom!!! Come join us!!

Ayaan pulled his mom to dance with them, while Dilshaad switched off the music system.

Najma: Why mom???

Dilshaad: What is going on here?? It's time for your Bhaijaan to come!

Ayaan: But he didn't come yet yeah?? (Still dancing)

Dilshaad: Hmm...now behave like a macho to me...when your Bhaijaan comes and sees you both like this na, he will start dancing on my head!!

Najma: Cool down Mom!! You are always there to save us na?? (Side hugging Dilshaad)

"Ammiii!!!!"

Dilshaad: Asad!!!

Ayaan and Najma: Oh My God!!!!! Run!!!

Those two sped off to their rooms, leaving Dilshaad laughing in the hall.

Asad came inside searching Dilshaad.

Dilshaad: Haan Asad, bolo beta.

Asad: Ammi, why didn't the gardener trim the plants yet?? I asked him to do the work today morning only.

Dilshaad: He got a call from his home, that his wife is sick. I only send him home. It's okay beta, one day later we will do.

Asad: Where is Ayaan and Najma??

Dilshaad: Wo...they are studying inside.

Asad: Ayaan!! Najma!!

Both of them came from their rooms with their notes and greeted their Bhaijaan and pretended as though they were studying. Asad came to them both.

Asad: Ayaan, I got these books for you. It will be useful for your exams.

Ayaan: Thank you Bhaijaan.(Giving awful looks at those books)

Asad: And how was your exam Najma??

Najma: It was good Bhaijaan.

Asad: Alright. Continue studying. Go.

Asad went to his room and both of them sighed after he walked inside.

Ayaan: Today's investigation is done!!

Najma: Go and study the notes from these books too!! (Giggling)

Ayaan: Ohh Shut up kiddo!!

Both of them went to their rooms.

Later at night, all of them were in the dining hall.

Rashid: So how was your first day Asad?? How did you find our company??

Asad: Acha tha Dad!

Rashid: How are the staff??

Asad stopped eating and remembered his encounter with Zoya.

Asad: Good. (He continued having his food)

Dilshaad: You know Rashid, today I met Tasneem. Her son is getting married this month it seems!! (looking at Asad)

Rashid: Really?? Woww!! That's a good news Dilshaad. (Understanding his wife's intentions)

Asad: Ammi!! I know what you are up to. But I have said you clearly, that I am not interested in girls or marriage.

Dilshaad: But Asad...

Asad: If you so badly want a bahu, get Ayaan married!!

Ayaan choked hearing it and looked at Asad. Asad finished his dinner and left to his room.

Ayaan: Ammi!! I don't want to get married!! And I have said you both. I myself will select my life partner.

Dilshaad: I know beta!! Chill!!

Location: Asad's room:

Asad was arranging the books in his shelf while he remembered Zoya's words long ago to him, telling that she never ever wants to see him in her life, and he is the only one person whom she will hate forever.

Asad sat on his couch thinking,

Asad: (In his mind) You are yet to see what all Asad can do!! Even I hate you the same amount...no more than you!!

Meanwhile, near the swimming pool, Rashid and Dilshaad were having a conversation about Asad.

Dilshaad: I am worried about Asad, Rashid.

Rashid: Kya hua Dilshaad?? He will change one day for sure. Why do you take this much tension??

Dilshaad: Because, my children are very precious for me. You can't point out a single mistake at them. All are very fond of each other and to us too. But only Asad's behavior makes me upset.

Rashid: I have a feeling, he will change the moment, he meets his life partner. She will bring a change in his life. She will make him love his life!!

"There is no place for love in my life Tannu."

Zoya was talking with Tanveer in her house verandah, as Tanveer resided opposite her house only.

Tanveer: But you have to start your life one day Zoya. You can't refuse it.

Zoya: Right now, I am not in the state to think about all those. You know na, my Abbu passed away unexpectedly and left me a lot of responsibilities; have to educate Humeira to a very good level and take care of my ailing mother. Where do I have time to think about my life Tannu??

Tanveer: Every duty has to be fulfilled Zoya! Even your life has to be given importance. Think about it. Chal, I am leaving. Good night!

Tanveer went to her home, while Zoya was left in thoughts.

Zoya: (In her mind) Already I have these much problems and overall Asad is adding pain to that even more. If I resign my job due to my ego, my family will suffer and I can't do that. Even today Ammi was very happy that I am there to take care of them. I can't think in a selfish way and put them at stake. I will have to bear this torture for Humeira and Ammi.

Zoya went inside her house to sleep.

Precap: In the canteen, Tanveer enquires Zoya why is she behaving very rudely to Asad when he is such a nice guy. Zoya argues back asking what she knows about him that she is taking his side. Tanveer asks the same back to her, that she is speaking as if she knows about him a lot. Zoya furiously tells that she does know about him more than anyone else as she and Asad were madly in love with each other at a point of time!!! Tanveer is shocked to hear that.
